Lets start by saying I'm a Romo believer. Whether you agree or not, think about this:
How long did it take us to find Troy's replacement? Yeah....

On to the Int.

I know Dez is the man, but don't force feed him the ball. Whether the D-line is blocking Tony's throw or not. That might have had an affect on the flight of the ball or Tony's ability to see the defender. You just can't do that. Almost seemed like it was a predetermined throw with no second option.

The reason was you have Little Beastly running a short crossing right in front of you and is wide open ( easy first down and much safer throw).

Tony's seems to be getting his football legs back underneath him but the mental part of his game is still lacking.

Come on Tony, pick it up. "We" need you.

It was. I read it as soon as he dropped back and so did everyone else, I'm assuming.

I agree and have said on here before...Tony's INT's are coming from forcing it to dez because "he'll make the play"...Dez isnt megatron and wont catch it when triple teamed

Saw it coming. It was the perfect time for the rams to be aggressive, Gregg Williams is very aggressive. Janoris Jenkins is a route jumper, and I'm not 100% confident in Romo's arm,

Luckily it was of no consequence in the end.

I remember Aikman in the Huddle always having to quiet the constant chatter from every WR that they are always open.......can imagine Dez in that regards is much like Irvin

Never took his eyes off of Dez. You've got to at least sell it................both of them.

I also thought Dez ran a lazy route. JMO, of course.

You can see the DB start to jump the route as Dez is braking it down, Dez needed to sell the go route better. What a time for a double move.

The reason the DB was able to jump the route was because the rams were sending a heavy blitz so he knew we would have to get the ball out right away. heavy blitz allows the db's jumping the first move

We never really tried that hard, how many draft picks have we spent on a QB the last 20 years, 2?

Jenkins is an aggressive corner. He's only started 33 games in his career but has 4 defensive touchdowns already. They were able to exploit that aggressiveness later so they certainly learned how to take advantage of it.

I envisioned this post the minute Janoris caught the ball.

You did you see Romo bring them back and win, right?

What's really sad, is Dallas could have drafted Janoris without moving up and taking that dumpster fire Claiborne.

Romo had a QB rating of 119 and only missed 5 passes as he was 18 for 23. His ball came out with better zip, and was accurate. He moved around in the pocket well and even made Ogletree miss on a run for 16 yards on 3rd and 13. I guess what frustrates me as a fan is that he just had a pretty decent game, but there is a thread dedicated to the one mistake he made. Every QB throws an INT from time to time. Romo guessed on a play and guessed wrong. That was his one mistake. It gives me hope that he can rebound and continue to improve. I honestly think there are some fans who were happy to see him struggle just because they don't like him nor ever will.

Now if this was a thread about finding an eventual successor, I could stand behind that. We need to find someone to take his place eventually.

Quality draft picks don't tell the whole story of finding your QB. Romo wasn't drafted. QB's are found in all rounds. There are bust in all rounds.

You need to really suck and get those high 1st rounders for a better chance of finding your QB. I think luck plays it part also.

Over the years, how many top 5 picks have we had. That would have help our odds but nothing is a guarantee.
