He took them to three straight NFC Championships, losing to Philly, San Fran and Washington (Many would say Dallas's three most hated rivals). He just could not get them over the top. Team game, but the QB always gets the most praise in victory and the most criticism in defeat.

danny had the unfortunate pleasure to follow up roger. no one could have done that very successfully. he was a good, intense qb that was always a perfect team player.

having a qb who was also your punter was just genious!

wow, if this isnt a testament to how you cannot compare pure numbers from different eras. Carter 8th? Bledsoe and Testaverde top 5? Shoot Craig Morton of 70 and 72 was superior to these 3 (from these seasons that is). Meredith was superior.
