Can anyone name any destination type palce that doesn't gouge you on the cost of food and drinks. I just paid $12 bucks per 24 ounce Coors Light cans at a George Strait concert here in Virginia. I bought the same exact thing for $1.98 at the 7-11 on the way home. Amusement parks, resorts, stadiums, you name it, they all do it. Its simply part of the experience. People will pay it so they will charge it and I have zero problem with it. If I owned a business where I could get those prices, I'd charge them in a second!

These people have figures of what they can make if they charge a certain price. These are the prices they choose because enough people accept them.

This is very true! I live in South Dakota and we had an "arts in the park" thing here with food and such and i paid $8 for a gyro

Draft beer $9
Miller Lite $8
Soda $6
Kobe dog $7.5
Bottled water $5
Hobe burger $13

Definitely not the place for Joe six pack. Looks like Jerry gonna try and pay that debt off real quick.

We raise Brangus on our ranch which make for pretty good beef cattle. We have looked into Wagyu bulls at several auctions. Have not pulled the trigger as of yet......

Those prices really aren't all the much more than what I've seen from some arenas I've been to for concerts or wrestling events or things of that nature.

That's pretty much right on par with some of the places I've been to including Reliant Stadium in Houston when I was there in April for Wrestlemania.

Eh, i'll still make my one game a year. It is all about the tailgating as mentioned, we hammer the beer and food before, then nurse a couple brews during the game. Which still kills me since you can buy a case of Mil Lite at Walmart for what 2 beers costs.

I went to a concert a few years back and the prices of food was outrages! So, before me and my wife went to the concert we asked a little girl cousin of my wife's if she wanted to come along too? She was 15 years old...

So, before we got to the concert, we stuffed her bra with bologna sandwiches (3) on one side, and 3 small bags of chips on the other side.

At the concert we bought two cokes for 10 bones and we were good to go!

We have Registered Herefords; for about ten years we have been breeding them to Angus bulls to make black baldies. We are now going into the Grass-fed/grass-fattened beef business since our cattle have the extra tenderness genes so hard to find in grass-fed cattle.
