Per Fanspeak. It has us picking 3rd currently and doesn't account for our comp picks.
I traded down a few times to gain additional picks. I would've liked one of the top DTs but they were long gone and I actually think our FO will bring Hardy back, have DLaw, Craw, Irving, and Greg and think we're mostly okay there. I didn't feel like there was room for even backup OL on the roster so I didn't bother taking any.
1) Trade down from 3, pick 10: RB 'Zeke Elliott (Ohio St): I don't think there's a player in this draft that could improve us as much overnight as an impact RB. Elliott is an impact RB and worth a top 12 pick.
2a) Trade down from 3, pick 10: S Darian Thompson (Boise St). He has what we need in a S, INTs
2b) Pick 24: QB Carson Wentz (ND State): Pick for the future, time to develop.
3a) Pick 3: WR Mike Williams (Clemson): Were it not for his injury, he would probably be the #1 or #2 WR in this draft. He's big, 6'3, and has speed.
3b) Pick 10: OLB Eric Striker (OU): he's a tweener, if he wasn't he'd be a 2nd round pick. He's a playmaker pure and simple and even though he doesn't fit conventional thought, you put him on the field and let him make plays. Maybe some Von Miller in him.
3c) Pick 24: WR/KR/PR: Braxton Miller (Ohio St): I suspect this guy will climb the draft boards come combine times. We desperately need to juice in the return game. This guy is a perfect replacement for what Dwayne Harris gave us, except like...2x as talented.
4a) Pick 3: DE Jonathan Bullard (Florida): rotational DE from a solid college defense. Was good value at the pick.
4b) Pick 10: CB Eric Murray (Minn): We're going to need a CB as I suspect Carr is a goner.
4c) Pick 24: DE Charles Tapper (OU): Solid player, could be a good rotational guy with room to develop.
6) Pick 14: CB Kevin Peterson (OK State): Solid cover corner, late round value.
anyway, had fun, bash away.
