Too many Penalties

I think the refs were terrible. The offsides on Parsons was complete crap. The holding call on Lamb was terrible and the PI on Gilmore was awful. The refs took center stage tonight. I hope everyone enjoyed a game with yellow flags on every other play.
This.

What do we do over the bye to fix this, same thing every season! Please gi
This has been an issue for years. I don't think a bye week is going to make a difference. I seem to remember Bill Parcels was here talking about trying to fix the penalty problems.

It’s enough of an issue that if they don’t correct it will lose them some key games. Look at the Arizona game. They were good enough to overcome the mistakes tonight.

This many penalties is from lack of leadership. Untill there is a real GM this won't change.

The pre-snap penalties are inexcusable.

McCarthy called it out and said it’s something that has to be solved.

Jeez. How are penalties on the front office?

It’s players and coaches, period.

Has zero to do with the GM

Tonights crew was calling the game very tight.

What I don't get is why the Cowboys can't see that and simply not commit those ticky tacky penalties.
I think on defense it’s just part of how they are coached and is their identify.

They are super aggressive and sometimes get caught.

No doubt there’s lots of opportunities to improve and that’s on the coaches, in my opinion.

Because those "penalties" are part of the game, and can be called on every team in every game. You cannot play this game w/o tugging and fighting on each other. That's the crapp they're calling.
I don’t know how tell the player to not jump offsides when the player literally doesn’t jump offsides.

I'm eager to scrutinize the penalties during my re-watch.

The penalties on both sides really took away from the game's watchability.

The Cowboys are an undisciplined team; penalties have been a consistent issue over the past several years.
This will be a continual occurrence as the coaching staff apparently doesn’t have the authority, or the ability to correct the issue. Given this problem has spanned the tenure of several coaches I am going to blame it on the only consistent presence in this mess: Jerry Jones.
Either that, or the players are just dumb with no attention to detail.
Other teams get bad calls too; to hear some people in here one would think Dallas is the lone victim in all this.
If the Cowboys are reliant on calls to go their way to seal a victory…then there are bigger issues at-hand.

Accountability starts at the GM, because owners are never accountable. And in this organization there is zero. Without accountability players will lack discipline, play sloppy which is the main issue in causing most penalties.

the whole game was determined by the referees ' calls. Holding can be called on every play but when it has nothing to do with the outcome of the play you should let it go. /shrugs.

Well, good thing we had Jerry when we won the last three super bowls.

All the credit goes to the GM after all.

Screw Troy, Emmitt, Michael and all those guys. It was all Jerry!

One of the referees called the penalty on the charges. He looked disgusted after he did so. He puckered his lips like oh well. I don’t buy into the propaganda that referees don’t like the Cowboys. But it showed drastically exactly that tonight.

Such an idiotic take. Jimmy was in charge back then. That's why Jerry is still so jealous of him. Jimmy traded Hershel, was in charge of personnel and basically the GM. Stop with the nonsense.
