So out of 18 possible slots, we have 10 with top 10 players, doubling up in some of the positions.
Although we are helped a little bit by the fact that we run a 3-4, when it comes to defensive rankings.
As much as it pains me to disagree, I think the choices I've bolded range from debatable to "Whaaaaaat?".
I LOVE Brooking, but I don't think he's a top 10 LB at this point. I'm not sure there are 10 guys I'd rather have playing ILB for us....but as far as performance, he's not in there IMO.
The DE spot, especially for a 3-4, is a tough position to gauge. However, there are a lot of teams running the 3-4 now, and I'm not even sure the Igor is the best DE on our own team.
James is a good football player, but belongs nowhere on that list.
With the wealth of talent at the RB position in the NFL right now, it truly takes a remarkable player to crack the top 10 at RB. Felix has the talent to be there, but I'm not so sure he's earned that yet.
...and at the Guard position, I like Kosier, but I still think Davis is a more dominant player despite his brief periods of weak play.
I'm not even going to address Anderson.
