I know this is almost a daily topic but it`s fun though, in their list, Tony is tied at 10, personally I would have him at 7.

Take eight football writers scattered from Seattle to Tampa and ask them to come up with a list of the top 10 quarterbacks in the National Football League.

Ranking the Quarterbacks
1. Tom Brady, New England Patriots
2. Peyton Manning, Indianapolis Colts
3. Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints
4. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
5. Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
6. Philip Rivers, San Diego Chargers
7t. Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles
7t. Matt Ryan, Atlanta Falcons
9. Eli Manning, New York Giants
10t. Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens
10t. Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys

I got Romo after Rivers.

Vick, Eli, Ryan and Flacco should not be rated above Tony. The rest I can agree with.

Out of sight, out of mind. Romo was out for the last half of the season, so this isn't unexpected at all.

True, people seem to quickly forget Romo's production.

anyone who has Eli ahead of Romo is judging team success not QB ability.

Vick at a tie for 7th is a joke. Yeah, he had a great year. Let's over react to one great year.

Not unexpected, but the fact that he was on pace to throw for like 5000 yards being ignored is also unexpected. There are not 5 QBs better than Tony.

I've got

Peyton
Brady
Rodgers
Romo
Roethlisberger
Brees
Rivers
Ryan

Still cannot get over seeing Ben rated so high. And yes, I felt the same way before he starting having his way with drunk co-eds.

Manning
Rodgers
Brady
Brees
Rivers
Romo
Roethlisberger
Matt Ryan
Josh Freeman
Sam Bradford
Eli Manning
Vick

Honestly I`d put Rivers and Brees ahead of Tony, as far as Roethlisberger I`d hate to put him over Tony but I`d have a tough time winning the argument (with an unbiased NFL fan) that Tony is better.

Yea I thought about putting Big Ben higher...I'd say him and Tony are about even. Gave Tony the edge because I think he's actually a bit better in the pocket than Roeth, and unlike Roeth, he doesn't hold onto the ball for a billion seconds and take sacks nearly as often.

What does Rivers have that warrants being better than Romo? Im not arguing or slamming you, i just want to know what it is that im not seeing.

When I judge QB's I judge them on their ability to play QB. People fall in love w/ imaginary clutch-genes and then their guy has yet another terrible performance in the Super-Bowl.

This makes 2 out of 3 for Ben. Maybe time to admit his team carries him and Rivers and others would be doing the same things on that roster.

Vick is a joke! The guy couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a football until he went to prison and matured!

Flacco tied with Romo? That's another joke. If Romo played for Baltimore they would have beat Pittsburgh several times.

Ryan?? Are you kidding me? Matty Ice folded like a cheap suit when they came to our place the year before last.

and finally Eli, see what a SB can do about perception? If it wasn't for that, and his last name, he wouldn't be near the top 10.

Amen.

Tony slots in very nicely at 7 on that list. I'd move Roethlisberger down at least to 6 and possibly behind Tony.

FLACCO, RYAN, and ELI ABOVE ROMO!? Hahaha, great for a laugh!

Only QBs i'd put ahead or accept being ahead of Romo are Rivers, Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Roethlisberger, P Manning and that's it. Vick is exciting to watch but he's not a better QB than Romo.

No Josh Freeman either? He's better than Flacco and Ryan.

I think he should be top 7 but making the list is an accomplishment on EPSN especially after missing the season.

  1. Peyton Manning
  2. Tom Brady
  3. Drew Brees
  4. Phillip Rivers
  5. Tony Romo
  6. Aaron Rodgers
  7. Matt Ryan
  8. Joe Flacco
  9. Matt Schaub
  10. Josh Freemam
