Twitter: Top 10 Teams Drafting Since 2021

I'm not saying this is accurate or not but I always find the will McCray detractors funny because they never show evidence of why he sucks. Evidence meaning showing his results in comparison to the other 30 plus teams.

How are the Titans rated so high, yet they are consistently bad?

Nobody left from the 21 draft. 23 a disaster. 24 not looking great. Not sure what the criteria is above. Don't really care. I just gave evidence they aren't great at drafting.

Those idiots don’t even know what he does. None of us do. For all we know he gives them guys to draft and they draft whoever they want.

I won't call them idiots but it would be nice for people to provide proof why he sucks. Cz has a big problem with context. Burden of proof is on the people saying he sucks because I don't claim he's good.

Yeah they are idiots not all but there’s a select few I’ve noticed scapegoating him everytime a guy flops. I know what it is though there use to be a group who gave him credit for everything and this is their way of humbling him.

None of us know what he does. He’s not the GM and he’s not it in title. The GM should get blame.

Just shows how difficult drafting is.

Our drafts (successes in bold, and I'm feeling generous):

2021

1) Micah Parsons (star player)
2) Kelvin Joseph (bust)
3) Osa Odighizuwa (starter)
3) Chauncey Golston (role player)

4) Jabril Cox (bust)
4) Josh Ball (bust)
5) Simi Fehoko (bust)
6) Quinton Bohana (bust)
6) Israel Mukuamu (role player)
7) Matt Farniok (role player)

2022

1) Tyler Smith (star)
2) Sam Williams (small role player)
3) Jalen Tolbert (bust)
4) Jake Ferguson (starter)
5) Matt Waletzko (bust)
5) DaRon Bland (starter)
5) Damone Clark (small role player)

5) John Ridgeway (bust)
6) Devin Harper (bust)

2023

1) Mazi Smith (colossal bust)
2) Luke Schoonmaker (small role player)
3) DeMarvion Overshown (starter when healthy)
4) Villami Fehoko (bust)
5) Asim Richards (decent backup for a bit)
6) Eric Scott (bust)
6) Deuce Vaughn (bust)
7) Jalen Brooks (tiny role player)

2024

1) Tyler Guyton (starter by default)
2) Marshawn Kneeland (bust)
3) Cooper Beebe (starter)
3) Marist Liufau (bit player)
5) Caelon Carson (bust)
6) Ryan Flournoy (role player)
7) Nathan Thomas (backup at least)

7) Justin Rogers (bust)

I didn't do 2025 because a lot of the players are question marks at this point. So that's 15 at least good draft picks and 21 bad ones. Even if you flip the role players to good, it's still 19 good to 17 bad.

And that’s probably considered a good draft. Which is why you can’t build exclusively through the draft the hit rates are rough.

Thanks for posting.
What really stands out is the lack of second round success.
Kelvin Joseph started 3 games in his NFL career.

Sam Williams has 5 total starts in 3 NFL seasons (missed one full season to injury).
Schoonmaker started 13 of 51 possible games. He averages one catch per game and 9 yards per catch.

In 18 career games, Kneeland made one sack. He started 4 games.

No Pro Bowlers in that group. The only second contract is the bargain deal signed by Williams to return to Dallas (2.5 million).
Whoever is calling the shots for the second round needs to go.

By looking at your comparative grades, Schoonmaker is a bust

I really would not have us that high but for example the 24 and 25 drafts really are too new to judge
should be 2019-2023

I’m beginning to think we should pass on Fehokos

They look at fact that we haven't won anything, but ignore the fact that the way the FO operates gives him little room for error. A good draft is considered 3 starters. We have to hit that, plus some, every year just to maintain a playoff caliber roster. The last couple years we have gotten hit with poor returns on early picks in 2023 and 2024. That happens to even the best teams occasionally, but you have to use other methods of player acquisition to cover it. We dont

Yea it reminds me of how off topic conversations go nowadays. Everybody goes off of feelings and care not one bit about the truth. It's the darndest thing. But hey..............MCLAY SUCKS!

Yea, maybe it's a good thing we don't have a 2nd round pick this year lol.
EZE may pan out from last year, but I think we are due another decade of whiffs if he pans out
