I'm afraid of drafting a CB with the 1st after the last two (Claiborne and Jenkins), I just don't trust our fo evaluating that position. Byron Jones looked good when playing nickel but got beat when he had to play on the outside, I think he's going to have success at the S position.

Wade Phillips was head coach when Jenkins was drafted. Jason Garrett was head coach for Claiborne, but Claiborne was legitimately rated based upon a point system used by the NFL in scouting DB's.

Injury played a big part in his slow development, similar to a future Pro Bowl WR who was injured also, during his first three seasons in Dallas.

Top 4 Upgrades

CB - Byron Jones was our best secondary player last year. Yes, he most likely is going to be our FS, but that tells you about the need at CB.
DT - 1 Tech, no explanation needed.
LB - Even if McClain is back, we need to get better at the SAM position.
QB - We know, we know....

How I would upgrade them
CB - I would sign Trumaine Johnson or Sean Smith.
DT - The Draft is loaded with 1 techs.
LB - Draft Myles Jack, period. Let McClain walk.
QB - I would not be at all upset to see Wentz or Lynch be drafted at #4 by Dallas. However, I would be just as happy to get Vernon Adams Jr. later in the draft.
