My top 5 list of the best coaches in the NFL today, more importantly which of the following could we realistically get next year? If any, I'm not sure of their contract obligations

I have for along time been advocating that the Cowboys are the most valuable franchise in the world, yet we have had an on the job training HC for the last decade, which is inexcusable!!! So here's my list.

1. Bill Belichick
2. Pete Carroll
3. Sean Peyton
4. John Harbaugh
5. Kyle Shanahan

others worth considering...Reid, Rivera, Tomlin

your thoughts.

Tomlin is over rated. Not worth an honorable mention. Can never beat the Pats and only superbowl he won was with Cowher's team.

Yea, that's a pretty good one. Garrett would be 1-15 with that team lol.

Not much I'd really change in this top 5.
Yeah because he was definitely 1-15 in 2016 with pretty much the same situation Reich was in. Look I don't like Garrett but stop with the stupidity.

Dallas' staff isnt even as good as ASU.

Herm Edwards
Danny White
Marvin Lewis
Derek Hagen
Kevin Mawae
Antonio Pierce

Tomlin also took another team to the Super Bowl and an AFC championship game. Who cares if it was Cowher's team he still accomplished a lot. Give the man the credit he deserves.

I like Kyle but he's not a top 5 coach. They are doing well with a talented team but garrett also won coach of the year with a 4th round rookie QB. Before anyone says Kyle is top 5 he needs more than 1 good year.

Kyle Shannahan has been one of the best coaches in the league for awhile now.

Even when he was in Atlanta it was clear who was the real difference maker.

He's a good coordinator, better there than when he was with the skins anyway. I like his offensive style, always have but saying he is top 5 is early. Everyone annointed mcvay last year and they suck this year. Kyle has alot of top 10 picks along that DL that is killing it right now.

Tomlin just won a game with a guy who i literraly dont know. He can be all of what you say he is and still be light years better than Garrett

Tomlin - No way. I would put Reid over Shannahan. I also think McDermott is right there for the next generation. McVey as well.
