NO.If we would have been better than several other teams, maybe we make the playoffs!!
Defense matters in this league.

Hard to take a post like this seriously w/o context..........Good to know not scoring in the second half against above .500 opponents must not be a metric here.
Strong Cowboy endorsement by this writer........especially as a non-playoff team last season.
Yeah of course. Thats probably the reason we sniff SB every season.Only the Rams have an offense that is better than Dallas. That's because of McVay.
You mean like with Quinn where we had a top 3 defense for multiple seasons ?With a top-five offense, you don’t need a top-five defense to make the playoffs, you just need a defense that’s above average to keep your points per game sustainable. If your defense is elite, you’ll likely be a top seed. If it’s below average (not dead last), you’ll still might be playoff-eligible but may face tougher opponents and have a shorter run. If we in fact end up top five in offense and our defense can at least improve to just above average we will be in the play offs.
WHY are you quoting 'experience'? His post made no mention of the word........it was making the playoffs. You mean like with Quinn where we had a top 3 defense for multiple seasons ?
What was our playoff "experience" again ? I cant remember right now....
Yeah, that’s wild. Dak has proven he’s near MVP caliber in the regular season, over several years. A healthy plus Dak plus 2 all pro wr and our Te and Rb…..na, no way those two are above us, Seattle too…..we better than all those teams except LA.Chicago and NE above Dallas is pretty wild lol

I was quoting experience because i used it not in the way the words meaning is defined but with a different meaning.WHY are you quoting 'experience'? His post made no mention of the word........it was making the playoffs.
BTW......We never had a "top 3 defense" under Quinn

Oh you mean this same Quinn whose top 3 defenses that contributed to opposing offenses being able to gash his Cowboys led defenses with these types of rushing yards in the playoffs?
According to what I see, they weren't top 3 in the playoffs unless you see something i don't. Im not excusing our offense for their output in the playoffs, but please don't act like Quinn had our playoff defenses playing like the 85 Bears or 2000 Ravens.
Not even close.
Dude ..........you used to quote someone. There's nothing wrong with admitting a mistake; you are human. Please don't act like you are the smartest person in the room.I was quoting experience because i used it not in the way the words meaning is defined but with a different meaning.
To make this more understandable, i quoted it. Seems it still doesnt help.
Honestly i dont like it if somebody else tells me what i meant to do. Especially if i explained it afterwards.Dude ..........you used to quote someone. There's nothing wrong with admitting a mistake; you are human. Please don't act like you are the smartest person in the room.
And Quinn's 'top 3 defenses'??????

NE had the softest schedule in 10 years.Dallas was better than Seattle and NE in red zone TD percentages last year, and less than .5% worse than Chicago.
