JETS GET GHOLSTON

Posted by Mike Florio on July 25, 2008, 8:51 a.m.
The New York Jets have agreed to terms with linebacker Vernon Gholston, the No. 6 overall pick in the 2008 draft.
Per Adam Schefter, it’s a five-year, $50 million deal with $21 million guaranteed.
The development clears the way for Chiefs defensive tackle Glenn Dorsey to do his deal at No. 5, since the floor has now been established.

WOW, average 10 mil per year.

That is getting close to Romo money.

A team almost can't afford to suck anymore. This has got to change.

Man alive!

This league needs a rookie salary cap in the worst possible way.

This is insane.
