Top 5 Worst HC

Add Patrick Mahomes or Josh Allen to any of those five coaches, and they wouldn't be on the list.

I want to say many of you here were singing Shottenheimer's praises. You bought Jerry's BS and ignored the simple fact that nobody would hire this guy. He has a multiple decade history of being a low quartile coach. He is not up for the task.

I appreciate the effort in trying to be logical here but no, it isn't.

There is not one advantage you can point to that Quinn gives his team.
So showing that he can lead a team to a Super Bowl is not an advantage over coaches who've never shown they can lead their team anywhere?

I get that he's having a bad season and deserves to be fired, but he has shown that he can coach a team to a Super Bowl. He has shown he can coach another team to an NFC Championship Game. That's a whole lot more than a lot of other head coaches have accomplished.

The first year Quinn was defensive coordinator for the Seahawks, Seattle led the league in fewest points allowed, fewest yards allowed and turnovers and won the Super Bowl, blowing out Denver 43-8. After Seattle lost the next Super Bowl, Quinn was hired as head coach of Atlanta. Within two years, he took the Falcons to the Super Bowl, even if it lost the largest lead in Super Bowl history. His team went 10-6 the next year and lost in the divisional round of the playoff 15-10 to eventual champ Philly.

Here, he turned around a defense that had allowed a franchise-record 473 points and the second-most rushing yards in team history. His first season, we finished eighth in points per game and first in turnovers and won the division at 12-5.

In 2024, he led Washington to a 12-5 record, its most wins since 1991.

Like every coach, Quinn is limited by personnel and injuries. (His tenure in Atlanta began to unravel in 2018 when he lost seven starters to injured reserve.) There are things he could do better, and when you are losing, those things stand out. But he's also shown that with the right team around him, he can put a team in contention to win a Super Bowl.

Correct.

"Can" and "did" are not synonymous.

Barry Switzer won a Super Bowl and nobody was real excited to hire him after he left Dallas.

by a miracle , we dodged Kellen .

I completely forgot about him and remembered that he was also possibly considered to be HC. Just wow!
