Give it a few weeks, and start working on getting Flo back at a reduced 1yr deal.

Now he knows he is no longer penciled in as starter, but possibly could, but the jobs Frees to lose.

Could Flo accept that role?
Depends on whos calling I would imagine.

If the phones not ringing,,, we will gladly take you back Flozel.

no. no. no.

I know for a fact it won't happen.

But it won't stop me from thinking he'd be an upgrade somewhere on our line.

hell no. we don't need to here "incest is the best" chants whenever the cowboys are on national tv.

Wouldn't be any worse than what Ben, Vick, Stallworth and Little have/will get.

I care about the Cowboys winning, not them being role models or what people think of them.

I'm beginning to feel really sorry for this kid. He was 16 yo and definitely crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed but I don't view what he did as "evil" per se. He didn't force himself on his sister and the age gap was all of one year. It sounds as though he has been clean for the past six or so years. I hope someone gives him a chance to come to camp and wouldn't mind if it were the Cowboys.

What I don't understand is how he could spend the rest of his life labeled as a "sex offender" when there was less than a year separating him and his sister?

So young when it happened and it's sad.

I think this situation speaks more about his upbringing than anything else.

It took only one post to get this thread off-track. Unfortunately, that's not a forum record.

In my opinion, the odds of Adams accepting a backup role is hovering around 15%. He knows that he can be penciled in or compete for a starting position elsewhere AND get paid. That's a pretty hard combination to beat.

My money says he goes home to Michigan.

That could happen, but speculation has also centered on him landing in Chicago or Washington as well.

I would think we hear something about him soon, as in the next few weeks.

Edit

I thought he was from Mi, turns out he's from Chicago.

Playing for the hometown team makes plenty of sense to me.

Well, at least it wasn't due to Roy Williams or Jared Gaither! New blood for the week!

shows you how strongly people feel about this subject.

I can't argue against that fact. :muttley:

No doubt, but why not post it within a thread of its own? Do you believe that some would feel as if it would somehow lose any of its importance?

Back to the Flozell Adams thread. :)

I don't know how the Cowboys or Flo feel about coming back as a backup. What I do think is he knows this offense better than any FA on the market and can still play this game. He may not be able to hold up over a 16 game schedule but as a backup chances are you will not see that type of game time.
