Yeah I'm already over this loss (kinda). This season was incredible. I truly expected 6 wins and getting 13 is absolutely remarkable. DAK cemented the fact that he is indeed a franchise QB today. So here is in my opinion the top needs for next year.

1. Defensive End. I have done no research yet. Will there be and Free Agent DE's worth signing?

2. Safety. Barry Church is nice but an upgrade would be nice.

3. RT. Chaz Green would be nice but who knows how that will pan out!?

4. WR. Would be nice but a luxury to have a dynamic big guy on the opposite side of Dez

5. Backup QB. With Romo most likely leaving we needs a different backup and not one with the name Mark Sanchez

I would list TE but I just have a feeling Swaim will be a good one.

Anybody with more knowledge than me on the college game know My name's to watch that we could potentially target at DE in the draft?

1. They've been trying but just can't land a stud.
2. Church or Wilcox? That is the question.
3. Green isn't the answer if he can't stay healthy.
4. WR, pay a vet or 2. Need consistency.
5. Should be a FA fit somewhere.

Seeing has defense wins championships all resources should be spent on that side of the ball this offseason...

Dont get cute we have an offense that can win us a ship.... we just need a defense that can be blown through like a used tissue paper

Agree with your list but I put a #2 WR at the top of the list. Also I think a healthy DLaw and Irving continuing to develop could cure all ills at DE.

DLaw took a gigantic step back this year.

He really isn't good.

We MUST NOT have a downer draft.

It'd be foolish to expect another 2016 draft, but another solid/really good draft would be great.

DE, CB, DE, RT, WR and maybe a TE if Witten does decide to retire.

Oh and Jaylon Smith and Tapper on the field.

a bunch of defense

Yep. I do think we need another Tend for sure because Escobar is garbage and Swaim is coming off an injury and JWIt is awesome but Older.

1)D.end
2) T.End
3)CB
4)WR

....sign another vet D.End in free agency as well as a #2 WR and/or T.End if we can't get what we want in the draft. WE don't have a lot of holes but he ones we have are glaring IMO

DE ,DT, LB, S, CB, backup qb unless we can persuade Romo to stay and we need to use Free in a depth capacity.

1 FAST wide receiver, and the rest defense. In free agency and the draft. Nothing but defense. Jobs are going to be loss on the defensive side of the ball, we need TALENT there.

As a Hawkeyes fan can I just say Desmond King and then sign a free agent de

I've watched Desmond for years: great player, great kid. I'd love him in a Cowboy uni. We should have an extra pick or two from Romo trade as well.

- DE needs upgrading. FA looks weak so they need to hit in the draft and hope Tapper is as good as they think he is.

- The secondary need upgrading. I'd consider letting Carr go. If the price is right, I bring Claiborne back. I might also consider cutting Scandrick but I am not sure what his contract status is, I suspect it's not good. We could use a real play maker at S IMO. I am not sure Wilcox and Church can handle SS.

- LB could be an issue if Smith can't perform.

- They need a real #2 WR. Sorry but Williams and Butler make too many mistakes.

- Free has to be gone. It's time to get Green and Collins working at RT.
