53. * Devin Thomas - WR - 6'1" 210 lbs. - Michigan St.
This fast junior receiver has come on nicely this season, showing big-play ability as both a receiver and returner.

73. DJ Hall - WR - 6'2" 190 lbs. - Alabama
Hall has good height, weight and speed, but it would help him to have a big postseason against NFL-caliber cover men.

77. Chevis Jackson - CB - 5'11" 190 lbs. - LSU
Big, athletic corner has performed well in man coverage and run support against SEC talent.

Those are three players I'll be watching closely this offseason.

Or the fact that they ranked Kevin Smith in the draft. I thought he said he was going back. I haven't seen a story anywhere that says he declared for Draft. Same thing with Steve Slaton, I haven't seen or read anywhere that he declared for draft.

well if u go to the draft zone it tells u that both have declared for the draft....also, you can go to your web browser and type 2008 NFL draft declarations.....or 2008 NFL Draft underclassmen and get a list....

but yes both have entered the draft. this will be the deepest RB draft I have ever seen. Imagine how deep it would be if Peterson would have stayed at OU this year......it would be unreal.

I keep flip flopping between Chevis Jackson and Trae Williams.

I really like DJ, but I read on NFLDraftCountdown that the dude has quite the off-field history, so I'm not sure Dallas will draft him

Quintin Demps-S (UTEP). He'll be in the Shrine game. Hopefully he can show some of the ballhawking skills that made him a fan favorite and stats leader (INTs) dring his career at UTEP.

A couple of years, I'd hope Dallas would have taken http://www.nfl.com/players/thomashoward/profile?id=HOW416588 Thomas Howard (LB, 2nd Rd, 38 overall) and we took Carp instead... Howard has started all but one game of his 2 seasons in Oakland. Carp has...well...not.

I like Williams-- provided he really does run in the 4.3 range in his offseason workouts... he's reportedly quicker than a hiccup...
