Bowman would be a nice replacement (upgrade IMO) for Anthony Hitchens. Short-term solution.

I still think Vaccaro is better than anything we have at safety. I'm not a Longhorns homer, I just think he has some tools and is a far better player than Heath.

Hankins is exactly what we need at DT but our brain trust seems allergic to a 1Tech.

IMO, those 3 would go a long way to improving the center of our defense, make players around them better, and allow us to take more of a BPA approach in the draft. Plus, I don't think any of those 3 would break the bank.

Im looking at

Jeremy Lane
Eric Ebron
Thomas Rawls
Kevin Minter
Bringing back Looney or Cooper
Austin Davis

If we had a better offensive staff in place, I might take a flier on Pryor. The kid has legit skills that saw him take a nose dive last year.

I'd love to bring in Bowman to solidify that LB corps. Then grab either a safety like Reid or Boston and then Hankins (he's likely going to Washington) or Logan.

Then take a flier on Pryor.

There seems to be little market for Logan. I wonder if we will start looking ar him if his price keeps dropping

Several of the same names on my list, Boston and Bowman. Or possibly Derrick Johnson to hold the fort. And I'd like to see Fleming or Waddle signed as well as Cooper coming back so we at least have a left guard option on the roster.

Nothing flashy to be sure.

I don't think Bowman wants to play for Dallas. So, I don't think he is a realistic signing. But, like they say, "money talks, and BS walks!". LOL

Stephens way to fix the free agency goofs from last year - we will go even cheaper so it doesn't have that effect when they suck.

He was just so so last year so I can see why. But I'd still take a flier on him.
I think they run more of a two gap 3-4 than Philly ran. Their system when he played for Chip seems to allow for more gap penetration. I dont know if he would be great fit as a pure 2 gap NT

In not sure what the Chiefs changed, but I recall earlier in his career Poe doing alot more gap penetration. And then they just had him occupy doubles

There really weren't a lot of goofs unless you are talking about it being a goof that they weren't active in free agency. They barely signed anyone. Off the top of my head, there was Cooper, who was a solid, albeit unspectacular acquisition, and Carroll, who was more for veteran depth than to be depended on as a key player.

All right. After we cross them off the list, then cross the next-best available off the list, we might finally get to see who Dallas is liable to sign.

don't get ahead of yourself big spender!

No interest in Vaccaro, guy isn't very good. Pryor would be an interesting project though.

Their four top free agents signed at the start of free agency were Carroll, Moore, Cooper and Paea. Three of the four weren't on the roster by the end of October. They are taking a cap hit this year for Carroll. They thought he was more than a body, they thought he could play.

Last year's free agent class was nothing short of embarrassing. When you look at the last 4-5 years of FA, it's a wasteland generally.
