I don’t think anyone on planet earth thought we’d get CeeDee Lamb AND Trevon Diggs in the 1st and 2nd round last year so it’s not far fetched. But yea it would be hard to get the #1 CB and #1 safety in the same draft

I think that they would have to trade up wouldn’t they ? In order to get both one of the guys you mentioned at 10 I don’t believe this guy makes it to 44

Yeah it’s a pipe dream for sure. We do have the assets to make it happen but the price may be to steep.
 
Why not take him at 10 ( since FS is so critical to Quinn D ) and get you CB at 44, especially if he gets a top 20 grade on your board. In other words, there's a better chance of getting TWO starters to this route than CB 1st and FS 2nd. This way gives you the best FS in the draft with still enough CB talent to find a potential 2nd round starter.
 
I think Moehrig may be already in the 15-20 range. Taking him at 10 is not going to a big reach. Really depends on who’s available.
 
Wouldn’t mind grabbing him at 10. watched him live at TCU his whole career he’s legit.

obviously trading down and gaining another second would be more enticing.

I think that he goes between 26 and 40.
 
To me Holland is the best free safety in the draft, I just wish he played last season.
 
Which top safety is that? Honey Bear 2? What was his times? Much better ball skills and natural football player.. I love to walk away with Surtain and Washington with our top two picks. Even with the hopeful addition of Malik Hooker, Washington can play slot or a 3 safety look.

The best thing about Moehrig has always been his athleticism. Good player, fantastic athlete. He's exceeded expectations with those numbers but IMO they were already very high.

A trade down to select him with your first... use the bonus picks to move up and have two 2nd round picks... that's the move!
We can flip this defense totally around!
 
Moehrig is 34th overall right now so if they traded back and took Horn or Newsome they might be able to move around in round 2 to get him. I wouldn't take him in round 1.

Trade back add a second and pick up two more eventual starters LB, DT, S, or Edge in round 2.
 
A few years ago no one thought the S’s would fall to the bottom of 2. We passed on them all once or twice and took Hill and McGovern.
