Top Ten Most Incompetent Front Offices in the NFL

As if we haven't known for years....

At least there hasn't been any threads lately defending Jerry and the claim that he was just as responsible for the 90's championship as Jimmy Johnson.

The longer he stays, the more he destroys any perception of credibility as a football-related executive.

Jerry's continuing attempt at relevance as a football executive today is just sad, pathetic, selfish and embarrassing to everyone associated with the franchise.

Good thing Jimmy (his college room mate on the road) and Bob Ackles were able to rape the Vikings in the Walker trade or it might be all time worst.

great post IMO

"Dallas has an absurd amount of talent but refuses to make the necessary moves to push them over the top."

I have to disagree with this. When is the last time anyone looked at Dallas's roster and thought that it was the most talented in the NFL? That Dallas "should" win the Super-Bowl? Jerry has not built "an absurd amount of talent", and that's the problem. There's more holes in this roster than Swiss cheese, and you're not fixing that in free agency.
What they have is talent in the wrong areas. WRs and TEs and CBs are not what wins super bowls.

some of these obscure websites/writers don't always do their homework beforehand. Example: I came across a sports website recently, listing the best 15 left handed QBs of all time. And Boomer Esiason wasnt on the list.
Whoa.

Talent? Sure. However, the problem is that Jerry overpays the top talent so much that we're left w/ JAGs at way too many positions, including backups. And then add in that Jerry doesn't understand what wins super bowls, and you have the worst FO in the NFL.

Dalls was not lying after all. They won the Super Bowl of Incompetent Front Offices. Time to make the rings.

Can someone please do a little research for me that is relevant?

How many LOSSES does Jerry have while he has been the GM? The count should start right after Jimmy left. Also, what GM has the second most losses in NFL history? It would be great to see a list. Jerry is undoubtedly at the top.

Dallas had a more talented roster than some other teams that made the playoffs last year. They might not be the eagles but they were definitely in the upper third of the league and at worst the upper half. Their issues are organizational, injuries, and quarterback.
