Unless something catastrophic happens between now and the draft, I can't imagine NOT focusing on the defense in the first 2 rounds.

That being the case, what players/positions might be our best pick at the 5-15 range? I have seen some draft Sims that suggest a top edge or DT might be available there, but I would love to see us draft the top LB. I just dont know that there is the right value for that position that high. Perhaps the GB pick will be the better spot for a LB?

What sites are best at evaluating not just the prospects within fhe draft, but also compared to recent years talent?

LB is a must this draft...and luckily it's a pretty good class.
By the time the draft gets here, I'd guess there are atleast 3 LBs with mid 1st round grades.

DE is hard to judge because EZ and Kneeland might end up being good/great players, but if a top one drops, you probably grab him.

S/FS I believe is a must as well....early

Well, you got some Edge guys making some noise like Ruben Bain who has a 30% pass rush win rate.

The Clemson DL has been a disappointment to start the year. Woods, a potential top DT in class hasn't made that next, expected, step. Almost similar to Bryan Bresee, a lot of hype but in his junior year he has started out slow.

Caleb Downs is a good choice to rebuild the safety position.

I like NFLDraftBuzz, but I'm not sure of a site that does frequent updates-nor when they update the lists throughout the season.

my 2 needs for defense are:
1. ILB
2. FS

my 2 needs for offense are:
1. OT
2. WR

you have 4 positions and 3 picks to get them taken care of.

BPA of those needs based on draft board and picks availability

really dissapointed in Woods,if you are a DT vying or a top 10 pick you have to be dominant and he isnt so far.

Totally like the thinking, and I will only add that I'm starting to believe Ferguson has to be replaced soon.

Safeties always drop due to positional value so Caleb Downs could be there. Sometimes you just have to go with the best talent.

Hoping for QBs to push Bain down if we're closer to 5 than 10.

I haven't started evaluating this season but seems like there's a solid number of DTs.

FA needs to fill a hole.

I'm probably superstitious but can we please avoid drafting any Michigan Wolverines?

Definitely go BPA early firsts are very rich for lb/safety. A long season yet, I still think were more likely to be in the middle than the top, but say Dak gets hurt sure.

I am 100% confident that Eberflus will address the LBer position with a top-tier player via draft, trade or free agency.

Keep an eye on Patrick Queen or Roquan Smith ( drafted by Eberflus )

Marvel Reece and Sonny Styles are instant impact guys at LB that will probably go top 20. They could be in play for our 1st pick. If we go edge there, TJ Parker could be our best value

If you are looking for value, Caleb Banks could be the best value in the draft. Was a possible top 10 pick who went down with a foot injury. Could drop him to the late 1st. Dexter Lawrence like ability

Downs is the ideal safety for this current scheme.

Didn't he trade away Smith?

I think the key of next offseason is signing a quality edge rusher as that position has a steep learning curve on the next level. Also, extending Pickens could affect no needing a high receiver as well.

Focus on LB, Safety, Corner in the draft. Maybe more depth at both NT, WR, TE later on.
