Nice post Hos. I hope we keep Gurode after the season. I don't have the hate for the guy that some do.

But that being said I think we're looking at a lineman drafted fairly high next year.

If we aren't there's a blind spot in VR.

3 of our OL are closer to the ends of their careers than the genesis of them.

I agree on the Gurode stuff being overboard.

I hope Tucker can do the job, but rewatching the Giants game, one thing I notice is he always the last one out of his stance on the snap. Flozell is very quick into his stance on the snap...in fact, he looks like he jumps the snap at times he is up so fast. Tucker might struggle with speed. Wistrom is not a true speed rusher though, in fact I don't know if Seattle has a true speed guy.

Flozell is explosive at the snap but at times he seems to be the weakest 6'7", 335lb guy I've ever seen.

You know it's funny... we had a certain person on here ripping the right hand side of our o-line (Gurode & Tucker) for being awful last year. Funny, but those guys aren't out there this year and if anything we might be worse. Don't get me wrong I like the potential of Petitti and Rivera is Rivera but were Gurode and Tucker really any worse?

Let's simplify the game for Tucker this week and let him forget about stunts or blitzes. Just hold the man in front of you.

Offensively I want to see us overload the receivers on the side the pressure is coming from and see if we can exploit a zone being vacated by a defender.

I'm just glad he takes on Wistrom before Berry because he needs the experience before he gets bledsoe killed against Berry. I think he will do good. Isnt Torrin better at run blocking then Flo?
