I thought he would have signed with someone by now. I'm wondering if he's waiting to see if Carolina trades Peppers so that they can gain more cap room. He's mentioned before that he would love to finish his career in Carolina.

I believe someone said that he was on vacation and wasn't in any hurry to sign.

Torry Holt won't be making visits any time soon

The Tennessee Titans and other teams that have an interest in the services of former All-Pro wide receiver Torry Holt will have to wait for him to start making visits. According to the Nashville City Paper, Holt is out of the country on vaction.

The City Paper, quoting an unnamed NFL source, reported it will be several days before Holt makes any decision on team he would consider playing for.

Holt was released by the St. Louis Rams after 10 seasons there over the weekend, after the club did not wish to pay a $1.25 million roster bonus that would have been due on Tuesday.

The Titans are one of several clubs interested in taking a look at Holt, who had 64 receptions last year for the 2-14 Rams.

Ahhh man, I just wasted my 500th post on a stupid Torry Holt story. Well, now I'm on the "we better sign Torry Holt" bandwagon. At least it would make it worth spending this post. But it could be worse, it could be in the Matt Jones thread.

Matt Jones, Tory Holt, Julius Pepper, and Shaun Rogers = SB

Echo that.

Laugh it up, guys. Now I'll just have to post more so that my 1,000th post will be something of decent value, like in a "bring back TO" thread or maybe a "fire Garrett" thread. But maybe, if we're lucky, it will be in a "Cowboys win the Super Bowl" thread.

Yeah, between Holt, Peppers and Rogers, they should be able to buy their tickets and an extra for Jones. :)

I just read the New England has signed Joey Galloway I think JJ needs to get TH on this team now so we will be a strong contender for the super bowl. I don't understand why he won't go to Romo and ask to restructer his contract so we can get Holt if I can remember correctly all teams have two great receivers on each side of the ball. Don't get me wrong I think SH and MA will be great receivers but we a veterian opposite RW to help him mature I also know we have the bst TE in the nfl but I wish JJ would do what it took to get Tory Holt in Big D

I really like Holt as a player, and a team-guy.

I just don't like the number that he's demanding.

At this point I feel, and hope that Jerry feels - the only WR we are going to acquire is one on the first day of the draft. Which again, I'm perfectly fine with.

Kenny McKinley FTW
