Remember last season?

Every single game went down to the wire. If we won, it was close, if we lost it was close.

Granted, several games this season were not as close as the final score would indicate, but when we win.....we win big.

Last year's first four wins:
San Diego: 28-24
San Fran: 34-31
Philly: 33-10
NY Giants: 16-13OT

This year's first four wins:
Washinton: 27-10
Tennessee: 45-14
Houston: 34-6
Carolina: 35-14

Just an interesting stat.

Last year's first three losses:
Washington: 13-14
Oakland: 13-19
Seattle: 10-13

This year's first three losses:
Jacksonville: 24-17
Philly: 38-24
NY Giants: 34-22

Again, our losses were closer than the final score indicates, but we really haven't had any last second wins/losses like last season. Philly was the closest.

I agree with you on this. I have commented before that it is nice to pop a beer in the 4th quarter with the game already decided every once in a while with the Cowboys on top.

One thing that has helped is that our running game has improved this year, despite o-line woes. JJ is healthy and MBIII is a great compliment. We didn't have much of a running game this time last year. This has allowed us to control the clock and keep the opposing offense off the field.

Some of our wins have been nip and tuck until the 3rd/4th quarters, but it is nice not have so many nailbiters.

Interesting - we need to score at least 27 points per game to win.

what's even more interesting is that we can score 27 points a game, and more, I thought last year was pretty good for offense, compared to what it's been like since '00, our O is much better than last years

remember when we were averaging 17-19 points per game?
We did that for a long time I believe....
like every year from Troy til last season.
