They had first and goal after the penalty, and on first and goal Alex Smith ran out of bounds a couple yards behind the line of scrimmage. On second down, the ball was still at the one. What was the deal with that?

That's the thing - there was no 2nd and Goal. On TV it was "1st and Goal" two plays in a row, with a horrific spot by the officials.

It should have been spotted at 2.5 yards. It may have made a difference.

I think they call def holding... half the distance from the goal .1 st down in the 1 yard line

yes, there was a penalty called and the announcers failed to pick up on it.. I could clearly hear the ref turn his mic on and speak. I didn't pick up anything that was said, the crowd just went crazy & it was 1st & goal so I figured we were called for something

It should have been spotted at 2.5 yards. It may have made a difference.

It is a huge difference, 2 yards may have changed their whole philosophy. They actually gave him 1/2 yard when he lost close to 2 yards. Stuff like this is really frustrating as a fan, football is a game of inches.

you thought right my friend.. That is exactly what happend, FOX too busy using their slow-mo cameras & what not or lets go back, lol... Failed to cut the camera to ref & then failed to comment that we were penalized
