Alright already -

We know your all upset and you have a right to be. The team was down last week and something ugliness showed. We get the picture already. Some of these posts ive seen are rediculous tho.

Parcells has got to go??

Tom Coughlin in?

Julius a bust??

Fire Zimmer?

You folks need to get a grip. Sure have some grumpiness over the fact of the loss to Oakland but dont go overboard. Most of those threads were started by folks who are not on the board much. So I was not so disheartened by seeing them.

Still - This is our team and we should Cowboy up and take the good w/ the bad. We all knew this was not some Super Bowl year. We all knew that this team was playing alot of rookies and mistakes would be made. Well mistakes have been made. Why is that so surprising? If you thought we would be 4-0 right now you are delusional my friends.

Come on now -Philly is coming to town Sunday. Stop this nonsense already.

PLEASE !

Nice post, we are just gonna have some ups and downs for a while. We are better than last year for sure so we can expect improvement, just not gonna be all at once.

Why bother posting if you aren't going to chicken little it? This is no place of reason or logic. Try saying something crazy next time.

Exactly....Like Payton is a complete IDIOT and needs to be FIRED ASAP!!! Something like that would get more attention.

First, I agree with your sentiment although I do admit that I tend to overreact in the aftermath of games like we have recently had vs the Commanders and Raiders. I normally do not put those feeling into text (more like verbal swearing) but, I think that the emotions we see are tied to our love of the team and the overwhelming desire for them to do well.

So bascially, in my opinion, seeing how close we were to being 4-0 has caused a lot of the frustration we see on the board.

In closing...................... :starspin

The problem that I have with most of these posts is that we have 3 cracks from the 3. If we get in and stop the Raiders.. everybody is celebrating and nobody is calling for heads. I'm sure SD was upset they couldn't score on us at the end of week one. S#$% happens. We just need to bounce back.

nobody realistically thinks Julius Jones is a bust...he's proven otherwise...

however Mike Zimmer has proven he sux, its 6 yrs now and our defense still has the same problems it did the day he was named coordinator..6yrs is definitely enough time to see if a guy can get the job done or not, and he isnt

Bill Parcells is in year three now...while he had tremendous success in New York with the Giants he hasnt done much lately, the last time he was in a super bowl was 11 years ago...we're one game under .500 during his tenure here...our team is plagued by poor tackling and blocking, we still blow leads left and right...we still ahve a penchent for untimely penalties...

as for your super bowl comment, I dont know if it was realistic to expect us to be there but it isnt that far fetched anymolre in todays day and age of extreme parity either. If the Rams can go from 4-12 to a championship the next yr why cant the Cowboys? I think most of us expected this team to be substancially better than last years teams and probably most of us feel this is a vastly more talented team than the one that made the playoffs two yhears ago...the level of play we've seen so far indicates we're not better, and on defense we're worse. After we beat San Diego opening day, it was not unreasonable to expect us to be 4-0. We lost to an average Commander team in a horrible way on our home field, and flopped on the road vs an 0-3 Raider team which was the next to worse pass defense in football. We played a terrible game on the road vs arguably the leats talented team in football and should have lost. We didnt play lousy football the past few games because of some rookie mistakes, we played lousy in most part due to poor preparation and lousy playcalling on both sides of the ball.

it gets old seeing some people get up on a pulpit and slam others if they dont agree on things...just because some of us (like me) are frustrated because the team doesnt appear to be better doesnt make us any less of a fan of the team than you or anyone else.

Excellent post.........I'm there with ya!

I doubt fans in Philly would be making excuses for their coaches and players the way we have here for the last 5 years...it's getting old.

We finally have the talent...we are NOT rebuilding...it's time to WIN.

IMO Payton is becoming a liability, and many think the same of Zimm. Either **** or get off the pot...the time is now.

You forgot about BP, shouldn't he be replaced since the Talent surely should give Cowboys more wins than he has gotten them :laugh2:
