Not trying to start anything so please don,t take it there. Another thread was talking about a window of opertunity with this team and i'm on board if Romo can stay healthy. At 34 he's not that old but, we all decline at different rates.

I can deal with rest on Wednesdays as a normal. However, this year has been somewhat harsh on Romo as he is a normal on the injury report each week.

He is hoping it's just been tough sledding this year and the trend stops here.

I think the window for Romo is 2 more years. With that, I think we will see a busy off-season. I think Jerry goes for broke trying to get that 4th SB.

Romo is playing lights out right now and i want him to finally silence all the noise. If anyone deserves it its Romo. The selfish side of me wants him to play 5 more years...we shall see.

Aikman was on the injury report almost every week from 95 on until he retired.

Me too. Shoring up the OL and getting the running game going have provided an opportunity to accomplish that.

This week will show how much we have learned regarding handling the all out blitz.. In that regard a good pre-playoff test.

Yeah, that's what scares me. He finally had to give it up. With this new success i'm just crossing my fingers.

back to back superbowls and then he can go...lol!

Thats what I think Garrett will do. Treat this like a preseason game playing starters that much, and then call on " next men up" to get a W...

Great preparation if someone goes down in the playoffs, and that player needs to come in to help get the W...

Remember Aikman liked to stand in there until the last possible moment and deliver a strike and that exposed him to a lot of hits. Between the back and concussions he took a beating. Romo is pretty good about not taking big hits even though the fractures in his back were as much his fault as it was the OL.

I agree. I think Jerry works some magic this off season to keep the key pieces and add some FA's now that he sees how close this team is. I really think he will go after JPP as priority 1.

I doubt seriously that the GM will bring in any name free agents. The acquisition of youth and talent through the draft will continued with an emphasis placed along the lines of scrimmage.

I think his current back issue will be near 100% next season. If he has problem in the future it will be due to a new injury.

Agree. In retrospect Tony's " give up sacks" were the right thing to do on Thanksgiving rather than take a full hit.

If Romo is to get a SB ring then he's got to do it in the next couple of years. Time is running out. His back is not going to get better Sooner or later he's going to have to think about life after football.

Keep Romos jersey clean and he has a few years in him. He looked like he was about 100% against the colts. Throwing and running.
That said one really good hit could be his last.
