So people are making a big deal out of the PI call.

But think on this. To get to the dance and win means

Detroit - best defense in football
Green Bay - best offense in football
Seattle - maybe toughest team in NFC (I discount Cam and his team being there)

Best team in AFC

So to get to the prize, Dallas walks the hardest road. There may be people who will want to suggest that pesky PI call. But if this team goes through this murderer's row and succeeds, there isn't anything anyone can say.

Play team ball
run the ball
protect Romo
get separation
get turnovers

I've been told this many times and refused because I didn't see it then.

But now.....

believe and #finishthefight

If we get to the Super Bowl getting through that, who on earth would bet against us in the big game? They'd have to be nuts.

Exactly. There is no team in the AFC that would scare me after running through a Green Bay and Seattle gauntlet to get there.

We would still need to beat the Super Bowl officiating crew. They can be rough.....

That PI controversy is nothing more than a small part of what the entire game was about. The Lions could have gone for it on 4th down. Basically, it didn't change their destiny one bit.

The real story is about Romo. Everyone expected him to crumble during December. That didn't happen. Then they said he was going to choke. Instead, he was the architect of one of the greatest comebacks I've ever seen in the playoffs. There was so much tension in that stadium you could cut it with a knife.

The NFL should be celebrating a great comeback win by someone who fought against all odds and beat it. Instead the league wants to put their focus on this silly PI call.

The NFL is being foolish. If they want to improve their brand and see this league go forward, there is nothing better than a dramatic come from behind win like what Romo pulled off against the Lions.
