Trade A Train and Price for a safety !

I hate these kinds of posts because all you are doing is complaining about something but you have no solution to the problem. Every week it seems yet another person comes out with some ridiculous trade scenario where we trade away guys THEY think are expendable but they don't have any clue as to who to trade them for.

Just trade a couple guys for a safety, any safety, just so long as he is a pro-bowl caliber player right? Of course, teams are always anxious to trade away their pro-bowl players for scrubs who were available on the FA market for months before we decided to sign them.

Just a suggestion, the next time you feel the urge to fix the team, do some research first and come up with a viable name... and then don't post it.

Thanks
Excuse me sir I thought this board was for opinions and discussion ! who died and made you boss of this board !

I still think Chavous could be had. We don't need the Atrain cuz we have Thompsom who has already beaten him out, and MBIII.

i am so tired of people starting threads right after they smoke banned substances. You are talking about throwing 2 big time depth players, that could be part of this franchise for several years. I cant believe the thought would even come up, we could use Price more than Crayton right now anyway. Hey, idea, lets trade Canty since we already have DEs........it just doesnt make sense, almost people start threads just to start them, even if the suggestions they make would hurt our team!!

Think Pile is going to be a solid player. Look at the second half drives for SF. Rattay complete only 3 passes for 13-15 yards and only one for more than 20. He might be the player we've been waiting on.

Why don't we trade Atrain and Price for somebody we'll actually play. Those guys are spares and we could get a decent safety for them.

What if Julius goes down? We'll have to rely on Tyson Thompson, I'm not saying that is a bad thing but he is a rookie and will be very limited. It's nice to have A-train available. The depth at RB is nice IMO.

I think his point is that some folks dont take the time to put together a SOLID, LOGICAL opinion that would benifit the team or the board. It seems as though people just throw things out there w/o doing any sort of background checks or research. How many teams do you think would take a 4th string RB and a #4 WR for a pro-bowl FS? It's not logical for them, and its not logical for our team, who desperately needs to keep the depth it has.

Yes, but let's at least stick to discussions that are based in reality. Trading two under used players for a starting FS is just silly and unrealistic.

I think Pete Hunter is available - or did he sign w/the Seahawks?

Yeah, he can't get a job anywhere in the league and he's going to come in and be our starting FS. You believe in the Easter Bunny too, huh?
