I'll say the 49ers use their plethora of picks to trade up to 18 and get their guy. We receive their #31 + a 3rd and 4th.

1st round-
Manelik Watson, OT Florida State- O line needs to be addressed badly and Parnell isn't the answer at RT. Watson is a solid player now with a very high ceiling in the future. Great feet and had the size and strength to be an elite pass protector in the NFL.

2nd round-
Markus Wheaton, WR Oregon State- I think a lot of people may groan at taking a WR in the 2nd, but I see this draft as a great opportunity to add another elite athlete on offense at a good value. Wheaton is an absolute burner with elite football skills unlike a lot of other smallish track WR's. Huge college production leaving Oregon State as the all time leading WR. Great slot guy from day 1.

3rd round-
Alvin Bailey, OG Arkansas- Good athlete for a guard with a ton of experience in the SEC. Great fit for the ZBS. Undervalued player in this draft, 3rd round is an excellent value for a guard of his quality.

Devin Taylor, DE South Carolina- We have no depth at all at 4-3 DE so a high draft pick is definitely needed there. Taylor is huge at 6'7 266 with freakish athletic ability. Even when he can't beat the tackle he is always a threat for a tipped ball with his over 7' wingspan.

4th round-
Tony Jefferson, S Oklahoma- Maybe a little late for a safety, but Jefferson has a ton of talent with a ton of playing experience in college. Probably not a superstar in the making, but could be a very solid player at either S position.

Jordan Hill, DT PSU- A little undersized for a DT, but makes up for it in hustle and motor. Shoots gaps well and knows how to make plays in the backfield. Team leader and good overall kid as well.

5th round-
Miguel Maysonet, RB Stony Brook- Has the size and speed of major D1 player. Quick burst and good vision that makes him an ideal ZBS running back. Should be a good guy to give about 10 carries a game to spell Murray and keep him healthy.

6th round-
Jake Stoneburner, TE Ohio State- Talented player who just wasn't used a ton in Ohio State's offense as a pass catcher. Had very good speed to make a nice receiving threat to go along with his good run blocking.

If we're moving that far back, we'd better land a second rounder. 31, 74, and 128 is terrible value for 18.

Can't really say I would be thrilled with this. No real problem with the idea of trading back, so long as we are getting value, but I don't love the players.

Well, we feel almost 100% opposite about this.

I like a lot of these guys. I'm not sold on going WR in the second, but with the other picks we made, it might work.

I see way too much value at 47 to be taking Wheaton. I've seen him ranked as low as the 14th best WR in this class and as high as the 7th. I'm not saying he won't pan out, but I'd prefer to pass in the 2nd round.

Also, that trade value is hosed. You can get more.

I'd probably move to Canada if this happened. No offense!

who knows from round 4 onward, but if i had those 1-3 picks, i would go

1. Sylvester Wlliams, DT
2. Terron Armstead, OT
3a. DJ Swearinger, FS
3b. Alvin bailey, OG or Schwenke, OC/OG (if i think i might need a center)

4 impact starters at positions of huge need

IMO, this draft can be huge for this team
we just cant get cute and do the usual stupid JJ stuff

The trade value chart would be for 18 picks 31, 61, and either a 4th or a 5th and I'd make them pay a 4th if we trade back 13 spots.

Not really. 18 is worth 900 points, and picks 31 + 61 = 892.

I really like your players. And I think the value in the late 2nd to 3rd makes WR something you have to consider. That is IF the projections for who will be there pan out.

Yea I know it's a lil over with a fourth but if they want to come up then they're gonna have to pay a lil bit more for someone to move down. Heck Cleveland had to give up a 4th, 6th and 7th last yr to move from #4 overall to #3.

Count me in as those who would groan if we take Wheaton 47. I don't know if Groan is the right word. I'd be absolutely livid. I don't believe he is a need, I don't think he'd be the best player available. If your not drafting for Need(which I hope we dont) you better take the BPA(Which I hope we do) and I have a very hard time seeing him as the best option(although it depends how things fall, but even in my wildest scenario I don't see it)

1st round- Menelik Watson, OT Florida State
I like high upside plays; however, despite Watson's physical ability, he is unlikely to be a day-1 starter in the NFL. He is the type of player that I would wait to see if he falls to #47 which he could after a terrible combine.

2nd round- Markus Wheaton, WR Oregon State
If he was by far the BPA, then I would be OK with a WR here; however, I don't see that being the case with this player.

3rd round- Alvin Bailey, OG Arkansas
Good pick, good fit.

3rd round- Devin Taylor, DE South Carolina
Seems a little early, but OK. He should be a good fit at Strong-Side DE in Kiffin's defense.

4th round- Tony Jefferson, S Oklahoma
OK, but I might prefer one of the higher upside Safeties here like Earl Wolff or Duke Williams.

4th round- Jordan Hill, DT PSU
Good pick.

5th round- Miguel Maysonet, RB Stony Brook
Good pick.

6th round- Jake Stoneburner, TE Ohio State
I believe that the Cowboys want/need a more dominant type of blocker as the 3rd TE. This would have been a good pick some years, but Stoneburner is too similar in type to Hanna, IMO.
