Twitter: Trade deadline update

Not much production for Quinn this year, but 18 sacks last year. Is he slipping or is it a matter of defensive scheming and supporting cast. If he is still in pro bowl form, why would Chicago let him go for a 4th.
Excellent question!

Production dropping could be a few factors
Quinn is getting double teamed at one of the highest rates in the NFL this year. Teams can focus solely on him.
He’s gone up against a good group of LT’s. Chi doesn’t move him around very much.
He’s getting old and his play is dropping off.
I think he’ll be productive as a situational pass rusher but it’s a low risk move since they can walk away free and clear at the end of the year if he doesn’t produce.

Why Chi traded him? They need draft capital and an aging and expensive DE doesn’t make sense at this point.

Hankins will help us. The Bears are riding high after last week. They will come in here playing loose and fun with nuthin 2 lose. We better be ready.

He thinks he is emulating Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch.

Khalil Mack is gone. I imagine life will be much easier with the new running mates unfortunately

I think the Bears will hit us in the mouth early with Fields hitting a HUGE play action pass for a score. How we respond to getting smacked will be key. If they get the early mojo, it will be hard., The Bears are young and don't know any better. In their minds they expect to win. They still beat a BB coached team handily and in their house. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT underestimate them. We need 2 treat this game like a playoff game. Be ready for physicality. They have 2 rb's that run hard and smart. This game will be a challenge.

the Bears wr's don't scare me, but Fields and the 2 backs do. If we can minimize the damage by them 3 guys, we will win fairly easy. We will need Turpin to shorten the field for Dak often. I can see a return for a TD. It may end ^ being the difference.

It's not going to be close IMO.

If Parsons plays it will be a bloodbath.

Without Parsons, who knows.
