Trade Deadline

Fast approaching. I believe in the NFL it is around week 6 (if I'm not mistaken). I know it is nothing like the trade deadlines in the respective sports, baseball and basketball; but is there any one out there that could improve us THIS year for the long haul? Obviously, now with the discouraging news about Rat, DT or DE has to be the target. Secondary help would be beautiful as well. Do we look to the teams that might as well mail it in already (i.e Gints, Jags, Bucs, Steelers, et al)?? How much would it cost us to go get Gerald McCoy or Adian Clayborn from TB?? Maybe a cheaper option would be the older, but still productive Jason Babin?? Thoughts??

Gerald McCoy is going to take a lot more then a 7th! I wait until after the Wash game, and if then we get no pressure, but win, I then contemplate a trade or something.

Thanks for the info, did not know when trade deadline was, Cowboys need to make a trade getting someone or giving up someone for a draft pick. Cowboys are not good enough to stand pat.

Now there is something. We just need to find a team that is lining up for guys on the IR and PuP. Lots of teams out there who want to pay 10+ million for guys that aren't going to play.

I'd totally do it for a 7th

i think a free agent pickup is more likely. I wouldnt mind a late round trade for an average dlineman for depth purposes
