Broncos trade up to jump in front of the Giants and get Carradine. Cowboys get 28 and 58.

Also hope the Cowboys look at Barrett Jones the same way they have looked at Sean Lee, Bruce Carter, and DeMarco Murray and take this guy in the 4th round because he is the best center in the draft and could play 3 different positions.

Interesting trade scenario, and it does play into the Broncos' "all in" philosophy to do everything they can to milk out the last year or so of Manning's career.

If the guards are gone, I would be perfectly fine with that.

I'm actually starting to become ok with the idea of trading down, if our top targets are gone. I think if we stay at 18, and don't select Cooper, Warmack, Richardson, Vaccaro, Fluker or Williams, it will be a mistake. And while I think it's unlikely, all 6 could be gone (still on the fence about Williams, age bothers me).

Where, if we trade down to after #25 and pick up a late second, we could still end up with say Matt Elam/Eric Reid in the first and 2 quality linemen in the second.

Maybe not. This guys sources are pretty good.

Tank Carradine took a beating when I spoke with team sources today. I don't think the NFL world is as enamored with him as the draft media

If Warmack, Cooper, Richardson, Star, Austin are gone then trade back.

I'd love to trade with San Fran, they have a boatload of picks. The problem with a trade back, is who would still be there that teams want to come get?

Cordarelle Patterson could still be there and they're interested. I know they have Boldin basically on a one year deal, so getting Kaepernick weapons for the future is what they want to do. They could come up for Eifert as well.

Good points.

Patterson could be available and would be a player San Fran would trade picks for.

Eifert would be a luxury with Veron Davis still there but adding weapons for Kap would be good for them. They did lose Delanie Walker who they used alot.

Sad thing is they're a team with few holes and can make all luxury picks. If we're wiped out moving to 31 is fine with me as long as we get 61 and a 4th.

I don't see the Broncos trading up.

They will likely win the division, and mostly face the rest of the weak AFC.

People always seem to forget that there are still cuts, and trades to be made for next year.

If the two gaurds are both gone, I can accept this.

And I'd love to get Barrett Jones too!

If a run on OL/DL happens early, I could easily see us trading down.

I don't think Vaccaro makes it to 18.

In this situation I would then pray we can trade out again with a team looking to move up and take a QB. But with the remaining teams in the first, they could likely wait and trade with anyone before Jax.

Reason being, I would love to get more picks for next year to hopefully have ammo to move up and snag Clowny.

i was going to oppose it, but thats NOT a bad offer. I dont know about Reid like another poster stated, but having hte picks would be sweet.

Its a pretty good trade deal for the Cowboys but I like how you're calling a trade down now as if this is some big step out on a limb...after the team basically said they're more than willing to do so.

I like the trade you came up with though.

I think a trade down this year isn't a bad deal. I think we are going to possibly end up getting leftovers anyway at #18. I hope that Cooper is still there at #18.
