Unless Ramsey falls to us at # 4, I think we should do everything we can to slide a few slots down in the draft and pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd.

Then with our 1st pick, choose between the best of Zeke, Jack, Hargreaves, Spence, Treadwell, Goff, Wentz

Everyone in agreement?

I would add Lynch in there as well, as a late first or early second....

I'm feeling more like Ramsey is gone(if not you have to pick him), no DE gets it done...Keep the D off the field with Zeke at #4, add Lynch with the second rounder !

My last mock had us trading down, getting Hargreaves and then trading back up into the 1st and still getting Zeke.

Doubt Zeke makes it out of the top 10 though.

Might be able to get Hargreaves and Treadwell with that plan though.

Why would any team trade up if those players are available later down in the draft?

My last mock draft always end with people here complaining, no matter what the front office does...

I say go no further down than 15 if Ramsey and or Wentz are gone. Take Lynch and be happy at #15.

No.

This is my preference:

1. Goff or Wentz
2. Ramsey
3. Trade down

In the event of a trade down I in no way want Treadwell. Oline and WR are our strengths in my opinion. I also dont think Treadwell compliments Dez very well.

Yes. Dallas is ideally positioned to add value to that #4 pick.

If there's a player there that love and there is risk of not getting that player if they trade down, then don't get cute.
But otherwise, the pick is so valuable that even a small trade down could help the team get and extra higher end player/prospect or two.

Bottom line is it depends who is on the board and what they think of those players.

Then, of course, you have to have a fair trade available.

You have to have a motivated trading partner to trade down and get value for the trade down. There
has to be someone available at the time you pick that the other team just can't live without. No team
is going to trade up if one of the QB's isn't there for the taking at #4. Tunsil might also create a market
where someone might trade up if the Titans pass on him. No QB's or no Tunsil...No trade!

Trading down is a dangerous game. We should end up with at least one cornerstone type player in this draft. What i mean by that is a player that is going to impact this team for years to come. The further down we drop the the lesser the chance to getting that player.

I say no matter who is gone .. The BPA on your draft board still, is who you go after UNLESS someone has an incredible offer to get the #4 spot...

I don't see the players who a team is going to be willing to give up much to move up and get. Maybe if a QB falls but then that makes you wonder, at least myself why you would trade off a QB that others rate that high when you have an older QB yourself

I agree except that I would add Ramsey to that list, and if I add him, then I am guaranteed that one of the four (Tunsil, 2 QB's, and Ramsey) will be there. It's all a matter of opinion as to whom one classifies as a player one "can't live without". I'm pretty sure that a number of teams would love to have Ramsey, though.

The problem about Ramsey is that he is considered the top Safety in position analysis. He is not considered a top 5 CB
at that position. Most teams will not trade up for a Safety because it's not one of the money 5 positions. If he was the best
CB in the draft, I could agree with you 100%.

I would be okay with that if they like Lynch more than the Goff and Wentz (personally don't agree) but could see that move from the FO if they feel he's their guy in the first, etc. If they like Lynch though, they can't get too cute and trade down as far as they may think if at all and take him at 4. I think Wentz goes either to CLE or to a team that trades up to 1. CLE would likely take Goff if a team trades up to 1, etc. Goff would be my choice if we/other teams don't move up to 1.

That's the big question on him, I think. I have read several reports that state that some teams view him as a corner, while others view him as more of a safety. I have also read a few reports that rank him as the top player in the entire draft. I don't think I'd go that far, but I do think he's a legit top five player and may very well be top three in this draft. Having said that, I, personally, would not trade up to get him, but I could see a team(s) doing it, though. All I know for sure is that it's going to be a long four weeks when a lot of questions will be answered regarding where teams have players slotted.
