You might be able to get Rankins AND Hargreaves, depending on how late one of them goes.
Use the extra 2nd and combine with ours to get up to 15 or so...grab two starters

Was DLaw ever linked to drugs prior to coming into the NFL. No one can guarantee Lawson, Rankins, whomever will not ever be suspended. Players get suspended for certain types of dang cough syrup and other meds. Don't think we can focus draft on suspected drug issues.

Unfortunately, the Chargers hold all the cards. Are they willing to move down like the Rams and Browns were, willing to give up one of the top non-quarterback players to cash in on more picks?

The same deal the Titans would offer us to get back up to nab Tunsil is the same deal they can offer the Chargers.

I said whatever happens 1-3 is a win-win for the Cowboys. And it is. We still will get a top player at #4. But in terms of trading down, I think the Cowboys are going to lose out. Every other team above us stands to get a bounty of picks, and it looks like we'll get left out.

I would, especially if your drug issues keep you out of games. I think that's a VERY IMPORTANT consideration.

Problem was DLaw was not a drug user in college and here we are. Same could happen with Lawson and Rankins. That was the point I was trying to make.

I'm sure it's probably a med he was using for recovering from back surgery, but didn't get it checked by the doc before using it. Which happens, but players have to be smarter and history shows....they just aren't.

At first I wouldn't consider this BUT now that the Titans and Browns have made their trades, there is a remote possibility that Tunsil could be sitting there at # 4. Now the Bucs and Giants probably would love to get him. I am willing or would be willing to see if they would be interested. If the Bucs wanted to trade then I would grab Zeke at #9.
