Always. The Seahawks could've traded the pick that used on Aaron Curry for pretty much any single player in the league. He flamed out in two seasons.

If there's one team you would use for defending the idea of building through the draft, it'd be the Seahawks. Yes, they picked a few key players through the draft or FA, but the majority of that team came from the draft (Wilson, Sherman, Thomas, Maxwell, Tate, Okung, Unger, Chancellor, Wagner, Wright, Bryant, etc). And just because they had a player here or there flame out, doesn't mean draft picks are irrelevant. This isn't the NBA.

Why not just wait a while and after the draft, maybe the Eagles will cut him? If the Eagles get what they are looking for in the draft, maybe they will cut him. I'm sure he isn't high on their list and they probably don't want to pay him.

He's on the market, since Philly has changed to a 3-4 he doesn't fit their schemes any longer, but we're in a position to greatly benefit. There would inherently be a slight premium since it is intra-division, but I would be willing to part with our 4th packaged with two of our 7th for Graham. If I had to I'd go 3rd.

Any day 3 pick works....he's a FA next year and the Eagles don't care about where they trade him....whomever offers the best deal will get him.

Long shot that he's a camp cut if he stays any way. Fish out of water in a 3-4.....good edge player in a rotation on a 4 man line.

I don't think trading for this guy is a horrible idea, but the prices that are being thrown out are disproportionate to what he is worth and a bit unrealistic.

Graham is someone you give up no more than a 6th rounder.

Just look at the going rate for other 1st round busts.

Either trade for another first round bust in an even swap, trade for a low round pick or just completely release.

3 picks for what has for the most part been considered a bust? I MIGHT give up a 7th

If you look at that thread about the top 5 Dallas Cowboys or any list compiling the greatest Cowboys players you will see the majority of them were acquired through the draft. The draft isn't the only way to bring in and develop a great player, but it is perhaps the most dependable way of getting talent on a team.

to the Eagles? never...they wouldn't do this, but send them a 7th for him...otherwise, you don't give good picks (4th or 3rd) to a division rival...the eagles would want more to send a player to a rival and the cowboys would want to send less...can't see a match here....

Never understood this. I'd trade with whoever could make my team better.
