Bingo, JH was OK but that train has left the station and no turning back. Just draft a C, DT and S and then we are cooking with Crisco. Quit trying to use band aids when you need stitches.

They could never get over 2013 when he wasn’t ready to play but was forced to due to injuries. He developed and got better but most things were blamed on him even though the entire defense sucked. Heath haters were awfully quiet last year when his replacement sucked and Heath was picking off Mahomes.

where would you rank The GOAT on the all time Cowboy defensive player list.. for me it’s.
1. Jeff Heath
2. Bob Lilly
3. Randy White
4. DWare
5. Woody
6. Mel Renfro
7. Harvey Martin
 
Finding a capable safety is our goal this year.

Before long, we should learn if it's attainable.
Let's hope an answer is within reach.:thumbup:

Heath was below average. Look on any metric you want. And the term is “rarely” made plays.

I know you are the biggest hater of Heath so label him any level you want. The fact is his replacement was even worse. The position was downgraded, not upgraded when he left. So if you think Heath was terrible, his replacement was worse than terrible.

thompson and health were both garbage. Wilson was a definite upgrade.
