Im going to keep this simple. La’el isnt on the team in 2020. Patrick Peterson wants out of Arizona and is getting older. Arizona has a horrific offensive line and needs to protect their new prize QB.

Trade La’el and a mid round pick for Peterson and move Peterson to FS. Make him Charles Woodson in Green Bay.

Agreed on not being able to pay everyone.

But where the Madden type trade is coming in is AZ trading their HOF Caliber corner for a mid round pick and a OT a year away from free agency. Even if Peterson is on the decline.

if Collins is worth the same as Peterson, yes I'd call that good trade.

Peterson's last contract was 5 years 70 million. Probably down a little now, but Peterson is probably just a little bit more expensive.

I mean I agree that Peterson is clearly a higher caliber player. Nobody on that team is more important than Kyler right now. La'el helps Kyler more than Peterson. Thats how I look at it. While we don't think La'el is great, he is likely a huge upgrade over what they have. Plus Peterson has made it known he wants out. As great as he is you don't want disgruntled vets in the lockeroom
