Instead of trading down....How about trading up for Wil Levis? Our #1 and Prescott. We finally turn the page on the fraudulent QB history that Jerry Jones had sold to the public since jettisoning Aikman.

IT'S ALL FUNNY MONEY....If the Packers can trade Rodgers and take a 99 million hit...why can't we go get a real QB? We could re-work some contracts to create space...it could be done.

Dallas feels they are top 2-3 team in NFC and a real shot at a SB given the conference.
Right or wrong.

It's only a $40 million dead money hit if they trade Rodgers pre June 1. So more than half of what we'd have to take with Dak. The reason why it's only 40 million is that in a trade, his roster option transfers to the new team. If they cut him, they are on the hook for it. Hence the $99 million versus $40 million cut versus trade difference.

Long story short, trading Dak is way more painful than trading Rodgers.

I think the vast majority dont including the FO. The ones that havent are a very vocal minority that spent their life savings on, and now have a closet full of number 4 jerseys.

I just think defense and a explosive run game is your best bet with Dak.

With McCarthy calling plays I expect the offense to get some weapons this weekend.

I don’t think we can rely on Dak’s ability as a passer to get us where we want to go.

To me Gibbs is just too perfect for how simple it is to get him the ball and what he can do with it on his own.

Honestly Kellen Moore has to be pissed if we go out and load up on offense. All he had was a slow mentally QB ...a run down RB...A receiving TE that couldn't block...an unproven #1Wr...and Tony Pollard. Yet he managed to get that going as the top offense in the league.

Not to mention we’ll likely add another WR and TE in the 1st 4 rounds.

I imagine last years game goes much different with Cooks and a guy like Gibbs
