Perhaps we are all wrong. You people think Garret and Linehan are on the hot seat, but its really Kellen Moore and Sanjay. If Amari can't get the offense going, these guys will be your 2018 scapegoats.

LOL.

If that went down, that would make for a really fun offseason around here.

Wouldn’t shock me to see two guys who don’t run the offense blamed
Moore may or may not be a good QB coach but the QB coach can’t come into the game and tell you who is gonna be open. The WR coach may or may not be any good but the fact we added more talent at WR tells you our off season approach to WR was wrong. No receiver coach can make diamonds out of rocks. That said every week when I rewatch games I see guys open one most plays

Kellen Moore needs to be gone either way. And he can take his father, Scott Linehan, with him.

Typically, we scapegoat the worst positions on the field and blame the coaches. So maybe Paul Alexander should be on the chopping block too.

Garrett and Linehan got off this past season with the other coaches being replaced.

If the season continues down the path it is going....Linehan, the Ginger or Dak needs to be removed from the equation.

I have a feeling that Linehan will be the odd man out.

They can actually. There were several clips of Romo (2016) telling Dak what the defense was doing and what to do in certain looks. He should be getting the same kind of advice from Moore. You usually don't see Moore on the sidelines with Dak talking strategy. Romo would be an amazing QB coach (and probably more). Jerry needs to try and lure him out of the booth.

You may just be right

Unfortunately - this acquisition more than likely brought Garrett and Linehan at least another year. This won't end well - it will just end up like we all KNOW it will. Right where were at now (8-8).

Its not going to end well for Kellen Moore, Sanjay Lai, and Paul Alexander. Your class of 2018 scapegoats.

“You people?”

It doesn't matter how good/bad the coaching is if the QB isn't good enough to make the throws

I'm not saying I'm a Garrett/Linehan/Moore supporter, but even Sean McVay or Kyle Shanahan wouldn't be able to make their offense ultra-efficient if Dak was their QB

Romo would be but he’s not gonna be a QB coach
I don’t know if Moore helps or hurts. What I do know is Dak is not finding the open guys many plays and there are open guys. Can a QB coach fix that? If Romo could fix that why isn’t it fixed from his time with Romo

Even though he should be gone yesterday, I don't believe Garrett is going anywhere. Nor is Dak. Linehan and a couple of other offensive coaches will be scapegoated and we move on to 2019.

And we will be staring at 8-8 again.

2016 was hands down his best year when Romo was still here. Defenses have changed over time since then and he no longer has Romo whispering in his ear what to do.

And no, Moore isn't the reason Dak isn't any good but he doesn't seem to be helping.
