What do you guys think? Who would be worth a straight up trade? Do you think the cowboys are now considering this option?

Personally, I don't see it happening. It would be robbing Peter to pay Paul at this point.

Sure, you may end up with a solid 3-4 ILB, but you'd deplete your DB depth tremendously.

I wouldn't do it. I think we'll be okay with Carter and Connors as our linebackers, but I don't we'd be okay with Scandrick as our third corner. He's a serviceable fourth corner, but I don't want him starting.

We already have plenty of ILBs. Conner will be fine, and there is depth behind him. This is not a crisis; players in the NFL get injured all the time. Lee is a great player, but it's not like he single handedly wins games for us.

It's "next man up." Nothing special about this situation that makes us different than every other team in the NFL. Conner will step up, and the rest of the defense, including Ware, need to tighten up a bit.

How? he played 1 play the last game. Looks to me their are pushing him out anyway.

Carter and Connor will be serviceable. Hang onto Jenkins unless some idiot offers a really high draft choice. Trading for an ILB mid season is not an answer for this team.

It will most likely be a rotation of Conner and Albright in the middle with Carter

Lemon is on the roster with Albright, Connor and Carter. They'll have to adapt and overcome.

I don't see a trade happening at all. We'll plug in what we have on the current roster. Losing Lee hurts a ton of course. You're trying to replace a difference maker with guys that have less difference making ability. Carter has a chance to do it. I am interested to see if Lemon is worked in, I think he has some ability to help.

As far as a trade...if we did, I'd be trading for a pass rusher. I think you can hide/mask your limitations at ILB with some pass rush. Giants have been doing it with their rotation of nobodies in the middle LB position for a while now.

I think player for player trades are rare and do not expect this kind of trade to take place.

Connor is a good player where he has trouble is in coverage and that is where Lee excells.

unless that ILB is patrick willis

But Jenkins isn't playing much snaps. Hes just sitting on the bench. I think he'd be worth a trade for pretty good linebacker. I just haven't seen enough from connor to trust him taking on Lees full duties!

I'm only interested in acquiring draft picks.

Either that or they decided to sell out to stop the run and realized Cam wasn't going to beat them through the air so there wasn't a need for 3 CB sets as much.

Anyway to immediately close any 'trade' thread?

Newsflash... They. Don't. Happen. In. The. Nfl.!
