Long highway drive today. Heard two radio talking heads seriously suggest trading Romo to Denver for Lynch and a third. Rationale: Clear him off the cap, he gets a ring in Denver when the Broncos repeat, meanwhile we get a QB competition between Dak and Lynch that will make each one better. We trade the loser of the competition. Supposedly, our defense is so poor we will be lucky to make the playoffs anyway this year. No idea who these guys were because the station faded out. FWIW.....

So they want to just give up on the season? I sometimes think these stations pay people to pretend to call in and make outlandish suggestions just to stir things up.

Is this a Dallas area station?

Romo is someone I hope plays his entire career in Dallas. I see no reason to trade him, allow Dak to sit behind Romo for a couple years. He's cheap, already off to a great start, and should be ready once Romo hangs it up.

Right now, it's fun to see Dak develop. But we have a Super Bowl to win with Romo, that hasn't changed. He has a lot of weapons this year.

Romo will be the Dallas QB until he can't do it anymore. End of story. I am just ecstatic that it looks like we finally have his replacement waiting in the wings......

There was bound to be a subset of the fanbase calling for Romo to be replaced. Not a reason to create an alarming thread about it.

When Romo has his annual 3 pick game, there will be a half dozen people calling for benching and trading him. That is only only bad thing Dak brings is the chance for the crazies to howl at the moon.
