I'm a huge Josh Rosen fan and I would love to acquire him. I don't want to part with too many picks so I'm thinking we should use players in the trade. Example: The Eagles traded Byron Maxwell and Kiko Alonso to move up from the 13th pick to the 8th pick in the 2016 draft.

My trade proposal: Dak, Demarcus Lawrence(franchise tag), and the 19th overall pick for the 1st overall pick and Emmanuel Ogbah. IMO Dak's ceiling is to become a Alex Smith caliber QB which is good but not good enough. John Dorsey (current Browns GM) actually traded two 2nd round picks(including the 34th overall pick) for Alex Smith. D Law right now is at his peak value. His injury history is concerning to me. I am just not comfortable signing him to a long term deal with a ton of guaranteed money. Also the franchise tag carries a 17 million dollar cap hit so that is also a major burden even though it is for one year. Losing the 19th pick will be tough but it is worth it for Rosen. We made a huge mistake not trading up for Wentz when we had the 4th overall pick. This trade allows us to land a blue chip franchise QB on a cheap 5 year rookie contract. IMO Rosen is basically Jared Goff(physical attributes and athleticism) with Aaron Rodgers level arm talent. He has excellent mechanics and is coming from a pro style offense. This trade also prevents the Giants from getting Rosen so they will be stuck with Sam Darnold who has high bust potential. Ogbah would be a cheap replacement for D Law. He has been kind of a disappointment but he still has potential.

John Dorsey reportedly doesn't want Rosen and Rosen has already made it clear that he doesn't want to go to the Browns. If Dorsey isn't high on Darnold, Mayfield, and Allen this trade proposal could be very attractive for the Browns.

I am not opposed to this for him or Darnold. Make use of the remainder of Dak's rookie deal and let him sit for a year.

Dak and Lawrence would be enough for the first overall pick imo and if it wouldnt then i wouldnt do it. We would need to keep our 19th pick in this deal.

If we can get the 1st pick trade Zeke dradt Barkley

It is really hard to determine what is Dak's current value. D Law is obviously worth a top 10-15 pick after the season he had. John Dorsey traded two 2nd round picks (including the 34th overall pick) for Alex Smith so maybe that is a good value for Dak. It would be great if the Browns accepted Dak and D Law for the 1st overall pick straight up.

D Law? You nuts ?

His injury history is concerning. I don't want to commit a ton of guaranteed money for an injury prone player. We would be getting back Ogbah (2 years left on his rookie deal) as a cheap replacement. Trading a player at his peak value(especially when he has been injury prone) is prudent.

The Cowboys aren’t trading for the 1st pick. They’ve been pretty smart in the draft recently and doing that would be stupid.

I don't think that comes close to giving us the 1st overall pick. Maybe I'm underrating Lawrence's value, but with his injury history I just don't see it. Dak's stock is at the lowest point it's been since he was drafted as well.
