Not aiming this at anyone in particular, but I would hope less than 1% of this board thinks we need to trade for a RB. Look, this situation with Zeke sucks, but trading a draft pick for “fill in” makes no sense to me. Just my opinion, but I have to believe the majority see it this way.

I don't believe this season was the season for a serious run anyway. We are a couple pieces away on D. I'd ride with what we have and, at the same moment, see what exactly we have in Dak. Can he win games on his own? We are going to see.

The problem is you evaluate the Cowboys too hard and don't look at other teams under the same microscope.

Every team has flaws. All of them.

Dallas isn't a player away. We are a game away from taking care of our business. A call away from a touchdown that wins the game. That's what we need. The extra edge on the field. The team is fine. IT could always be better but it's fine.

Read this stuff as "I'm bummed Zeke is suspended." Though its always fun to think outside the box like this.

If we trade, it'll be for a middling 1-tech, and people will complain that the front office still doesn't "get it."

If we did do something completely out of the norm and made a trade I would say look out for us to trade for Demarco Murray.

I don't know what Murray's contract looks like but they have a young stud RB in Tennessee, I know our coaches love him, and of course Zeke is suspended.


I'm sure they are fine with Morris but I wouldn't be shocked if Murray is moved somewhere. Maybe Dallas.

If they are going to make a trade, I would like to see some secondary help. I honestly think they can "survive" without Zeke in the short term, but this secondary will not survive the upcoming schedule.

The Rams game and the Eagles success would've made this tough with Zeke so who knows how our season will end up anyways.
