Forget all you Brockers lovers and as much as I like Barron, I like Smith and Martin as well. Lets not chance it. Decastro is projected to be the best Guard to come out in a decade (majority of scouts) and if he stays healthy we are set for the next ten years. We need to protect Tony Romo and improve our goal-line offense and this is our first priority. Decastro is a great short yardage guy plus he's the best puller/trapper in the country. Jason Garret can have some fun with what Decastro brings to the table in the form of "Intelligence". KC is all over this guy. Buffalo is looking at Gilmore or Cordy Glenn and may be willing to trade four spots. Don't buy the hype and smoke screens. Jerry has done a terrific job creating doubt but don't think for one minute he doesnt want Decastro. He knows the window Romo has, the success he had with Tyron Smith is fresh in his mind plus he is on the hot seat as a GM to produce.

Trade up 4 spots for Decastro Mock…. because YES he is that good! We move ahead of KC and ARZ.

#10) David Decastro G, Stanford 6'5" 315 From Buffalo for our 4rd round pick plus either cash or a player to be named.)

#45) Alemeda Tamu NT, Washington 6’3” 350

#81) Markelle Martin S, Okl Sate 6’1 210

#133) Brandon Lindsey OLB, Pitt 6’2 260

#152) David Molk C, Michigan 6’2 300

#186) Ronald Leary G, Memphis 6’3 315

#222) George Bryan TE, NC State, 6'5, 267

What for? As things look now, he will likely drop past our pick.

What did it cost to move up 4 places?

The move up warrants our 3rd round pick but i'm only offering our 4th round pick and a player to be named or cash.

And Buffalo would take that deal because???

It would take our third, at least. Not interested.

Buffalo may take that deal because the guys they want will likely be there at 14, meaning they get a free 4th rounder and CASH. Last I heard it makes the world go round. There is always a deal to be had. You may not be interested but Buffalo just might be.

Cash and a player to be named later sounds a lot more like a baseball deal than a football deal, and it likely wouldn't work that way. I think you believe they'd take it because you want them to, not because it's at all likely.

Uh yeah, this is wrong on so many levels. The first being, there are no cash considerations in the NFL, the second being he is expecting the Bills to give away the pick or loan us the pick, not yet figured that out and third, no one is trading up for DeCastro.

It's so right on all levels. Loan the pick, where did you get that from? I said trade it for a 4th round pick and a player or cash. We owe them some points so there will be additional comepensation. Im trying to keep our third round pick. If we can't do cash then package another player. Im not sure who that is but im not talking about a starter.

Nobody is trading up for Decastro? That's exactly why I posted this. The down talk is laughable. We need a guy like this to make a run at the SB and I'm willing to trade our fourth round pick and another player to secure that opportunity. I don't care about pre-hype talk, its all smokescreen.

Buffalo is interested in 2-3 guys projected to go 15-22.

Hey Wulf, I believe I can get a deal done for us!

Buffalo needs a lot of help and they are interested in players that are projecting out later, guys like Cordy Glenn and Stephon Gilmore. To say Buffalo does not want another 4th round pick and a player to be developed is saying you have not checked out the Buffalo Bills yet. Its painful but check them out.

You don't get into the top 10 with a 4th round pick and a scrub. And you mention smoke screen, so how would you even know who the Bills are interested in to suggest they'd give us the pick on the cheap? Gotta say i'm going with SDogo on this one, if you want Decastro, just wait till the 14th he'll be there.

I wonder if some guys have ever played poker. Trading up for player that is likely to be available without trading up is a panic move.

Yeah you're probably right but we're only talking 4 spots plus Buffalo is all over the place and needs a lot of help. I thought Jerry was a super salesman? It does not take a supersalesman to give them our 3rd RD pick. He's gotta sell that scrub as a future starter! Also I have a feeling KC is all over Decastro at 11.

If Buff does not want the deal no problem. We sit and wait , if he's there at 14 we take him, if not select Mark Barron.

Noway on trading up for him. Its very possible we could trade back and still get him.

No it called closing the deal, something you obviously know nothing about.likely to be available is no certainty. What Im giving away to "guarantee" the best guard in a decade?

Nothing. Did you ever actually win at cards?
