The bills are desperate to trade down . They want Nassib but they do not want him @ 8 . They are wanting to trade down from 8 . Do you think a 3rd rounder would do it ?

More than likely a second would be needed. 10 spots is a hefty drop and when you consider they are in the top 10, a third alone won't cut it.

It would take a 2nd. Now, depending on how the draft shakes out, I would give a third to move up for someone like Star.

Who would you be targeting @ 8?

dion jordan , vaccaro , or warmack for a 2nd forget it though . i was listening to buffalo sports radio .... they were constantly talking about trading out .

Following trade value chart, it would be 1st, 2nd and 4th for that big of a jump. I don't see anybody at 8 that we absolutely have to have. Not this year.

With only 6 picks, we do not need to trade up. We really should be looking for a trade down, unless one of the guards or top DT's are still there

We aren't the Commanders....we need to use the draft wisely....

If Lane was there I would pull the trigger. Might cost you more than a third though. But hey if they get stuck with the pick they might do it for a third and a fifth or something.

There is nobody in this draft worth trading up for. Nobody. This is one of the worst years ever to have a top ten pick.

There just isn't a large degree of separation between the top, middle and bottom of the 1st round.

SF or Balt might trade up only because they have too many picks and need to get rid of a few.

Nonsense. Star, Lane, Fisher, Joeckel, etc. are all worth trading up for. This distinction is whether they are with the price it would take to move up enough.

I would have to agree with this.

Especially since the CBA brought the rookie pay scale down.

I think with that, you will see a lot of reaches as well, a lot more risks, without the big money.

Who are you trading up for worth using our first rounder and then forfeiting our 2nd rounder (even if in this mrkt we may get a 5th back from them)?

What do 'worth' mean?

For me - worth implies consideration for the expected cost vs how much more you can expect to receive. What else would you be comparing it to?

"Worth" not having a 2nd round pick to fill another need? Is the player "worth" missing out on a very good player with the 47th pick? Clear enough?

No, our second pick could/should be a starter this year. If they are desprate to move back maybe they settle for a 3rd?

We desperately need that 2nd round pick.
I view it as our second first round pick...
Yes... thats how valuable I see that 2nd round pick.
