Another thing, I have that same sinking feeling as when we traded up and took Claibourne and gave up our second round pick. Deep draft and no 3rd. Dont we need all the Dline help we could get ??? Dont know anything about the player, but Jesus ! We could not get cute ! I thought this front office had learned its lesson - guess not.

I just think with Ealy, Crichton, Jernigan, and Martin still available there wasn't really a pressing issue to move up over ATL. Especially giving up our only other pick today.

I was alright with the Oakland trade. We just got swashbuckled on the pic trade chart though...
I gotcha. But it's about getting the players you really want. It's apparent they like this kid so they spend a little more.

We wont know if we like this move until we see what develops on the field.
We might have just hit a home run or grounded out to first base.
We simply do not know yet.

I'm happy w this. Needed help on both lines and we upgraded this offseason w Melton and bunch of other guys. We also are getting back Crawford.

I keep banging this drum but everyone wanted multiple picks on the OL last year and we got a great pick in Fred, a comeback from Free and the "coaches like him" guy in Leary came through.

We have two former All Pro comeback guys in Melton and Spencer and two "coaches like him" guys in Crawford and Bass. You also have two guys in Selvie and Hayden who will be much better as backups in a rotation than full time players.

The OL came through last year with just the one pick of Frederick. Lawrence could very well be that guy also, though I think they pick a couple of rotational DT's later in the draft also.

I AM GOING TO TRUST THAT THE TEAM FELT that D Lawrence WAS a 1st round grade. The move up to 34 insured that Atlanta would not leapfrog ahead also before us cancelling our leap frog over them.

he ran a 4.76 at the combine and 4.69 at his proday. The times we need to look at is 10 yard dash, 3 cone and maybe short shuttle. Those are better indicators for dlineman and if he is tough.

Demarcus Lawrence
10 yard dash 1.63, 3 cone: 7.46, short shuttle:4.31

Well, that's GM Jerrah for ya!

The worst in all of Sports, why did anyone expect this BLANK MINDED air head moment not to happen...you know we can always hope but this is old hat ladies and gentlemen, folks should be very tired of being force fed this kind of bull crap by the butt load.

The GM or Coach has to step up and ask if the 47th is that much different than the 34th, the answer is most likely a resounding NO DUMMY!

It sure seems like we could have just stayed put and got a quality player. Jernigan, Ferguson, Murphy.

Color me underwhelmed.
