Trading for RB

Do you think the Cowboys should trade for a RB now? If so what’s your proposed deal?

My proposal is trading our 2026 4th for Breece Hall. This team needs a certified bell cow. One year rental — if he goes off, keep him, if he doesn’t move on. Similar to Pickens rental. We have the money & flexibility now — this is the best current play to use some of it for short/long term solution at one of our most important positions historically. Breece still has superstar potential and this kind of move can turn the team’s short term & long term outlook immediately.

What would you move be, if any, for a RB this season.

no.
they need to play blue and mafah.
i wouldn't trade for any rb.

I think Dallas can get by with adding a PS RB without having to lose draft picks. Also, most teams aren't going to want to part with an RB1 level RB.

Practice Squad RBs:
Sincere McCormick (49ers)
Frank Gore Jr. (Bills)
Kimani Vidal (Chargers)
Carson Steele (Chiefs)
Audric Estime (Eagles)
Ja'Quinden Jackson (Jaguars)
Damien Martinez (Seahawks)

I’m torn. There is no doubt that a player like Hall puts Dallas into playoff contention room and possibly more.

Is that trade enough to win a SB? More than likely not. But why pay Dak all that money for a near zero shot at a SB?

Cowboys need to make up their mind whether they are buyers or sellers.

I would be asking how much cap room it would take to extend Hall.

This is for sure an area where Jerry needs to have common sense (yikes).

Does this team need a RB that can make plays and take over a game? 100%.
But is any available RB going to turn this team into a legit Super Bowl contender? Extremely unlikely.

I wouldn’t give up a 4th for a RB…5th and later is fine. Tank Bigsby would have been nice, would have been a solid compliment to Williams at the very least

With all that said…I won’t be shocked to see Jerry interested in trading for Alvin Kamara 5 or so weeks from now.

I thought Williams would be the starter and said so.

We'll see how it goes, but I think he was solid in game 1.

I'm a Martinez fan from the draft, and I'm fine with him and Mafah in the backfield, power RB heaven.
