Who in this draft would you consider moving up for if the opportunity was there?

For me. I get on the phone if Simmons or Brown fall out of the top 10. Id also consider moving up a few slots for Kinlaw if I didn't think he was going to make it to 17

Young, Brown, Okudah, and Kinlaw if they start to slip out of the top 10. Of those Kinlaw is the only one that might but think the four teams ahead of us may take him

I dont think either DT is a shoe in for top 10. Brown is likely, but I think there is a possibility he could get pushed out. Especially if there is an early run on QB's and LT's

I don't like the idea of moving up this year, given the shortage of picks we have and the number of holes we have to fill.

Realistically, the only guys I think will fall far enough to be in a reasonable range and are good enough to be worth additional picks are Brown and Okudah.

Kinlaw and Epenesa.

There is zero chance I would trade up for Epenesa. Especially considering Chaisson and even the kid from PSU would likely be there around 17.

I just don't get it with Epenesa. Nice player but I don't see anything elite about him. I saw someone try to roughly compare him to two other BIG players in the two Bosas. That's a pretty horrible comparison IMO.

My question with trade ups is always "Is this a truely catalytic player". Those types will typically improve the players around them. To me the three that could do that for us, that have an at least marginal chance of falling out of the top 10 are Brown, Simmons, or Kinlaw. Kinlaw obviously is the most realistic, as he is not universally considered a top 10 guy, but I do believe he is a catalytic player.

Chaisson falls short for me. I like him as a prospect, and I feel he could be a catalytic player. But I think there is too much projection with him to feel good about giving up a pick to go get

I like Epenesa to an extent, but I dont see him as nearly that good. He has production, but right now he is only a bull rusher. He isnt going to be more than a better Tyrone Crawford if he doesnt add more to his pass rush arsenal. The combine is going to be big for him. In order to go in top half of the first, he is going to have to test out well enough to where teams can project him on the right side. If he doesnt, I could even see him going in the 2nd.

For me, I can see him playing well in either the 3-4 or 4-3. Strong player. Bend isn't elite but he did a lot of damage from the RDE spot.

I get it, but I think he'll have a good combine and teams will like his tape along with his size and potential to play in multiple fronts. Not a guy without some flaws or work to do, but I believe if he can develop a counter to when the OT stops his initial move he can be a very good DE.

That's a great comparison. He looks like Crawford when he came out of college.

I would not trade up in the first round for a kid that doesn't have elite athleticism or bend on the edge.

That's a guy you take if he falls to your pick and you like him, not trade up for IMO.

Bend could be an issue for him playing RDE in the NFL.

Young or brown
And then only a few spots
We really need more picks than we have
I’d be more likely in later rnds but we really need a great draft with a couple of starters and a couple guys who contribute very quickly
We have way to many starters not coming back to be trading picks

If all of the previously mentioned studs are gone, and it doesn't cost a Kings Ransom..I would be pleasantly surprised at Herbert tbh.

I know, I know, Daks not going anywhere. But it would make some serious headlines. All I could do, all I would do..is just smile.

Only position im moving WAYYY up for is QB...

If it's just a few spots then i'd move up for a DB, DL, or WR.

Just watched Derrick Brown for grins, and man, he is ridiculous.

1:11, 1:36, 2:22... he just blows guys away with his strength. LSU starts double-teaming him on pretty much every snap after that, and they even triple-team him a few times when Auburn goes to a 3 man line (check out 5:38).

Pro comparisons are kind of tough... but the first guy who comes to mind is maybe Vince Wilfork playing 20 pounds lighter, in how Brown just eats up double teams and tanks through single blockers. Maybe Akiem Hicks for the Bears? He's a 330 pound behemoth who crushes run games and gets a couple sacks collapsing pockets.

Tua if he checks out physically is the only one

I wouldn't trade up for Tua but if he is there at 17 I would take him and let him sit a year and get healthy. I wouldn't trade up this year and may even trade back if you find a trade partner who is willing to give up a ton of picks.

To me this is the obvious choice. This is why I say Dak is pricing himself for Dallas to look at other options. What is the downside to trading up for Tua as opposed to paying Dak 35 Mil a year? I'd take my chances on the cheaper route.
