Tradition continues

I drank the Kool Aid this year. I still haven’t given up 100 pct but losing at home to a Raiders team that was ready to quit on the season is a disgrace. Key injured players are coming back and 4 out of 6 are in the division so the playoffs are likely. A one and done playoff run, again, will really take a bite out of my fandom. Missing the playoffs this year will make me one of the most hated guys on this Board because I will go on a post season rant like no other.
Drinking the Kool aid is on you. Why should we be held to such a standard without proven results ?

When will fans learn not to put the cart before the horse. It serves no purpose other than frustration and disappointment. Wait to celebrate and rejoice when we arrive .

What are you babbling on about? You have to be the most sanctimonious clown on this Forum.

I honestly think Tony Pollard fixes a lot of our current problems if they just focus on getting him in space.

Throw to Pollard, get him on the edge, do whatever you have to do to get him in space and let him create.

Man coverage has destroyed our offense right now.
Y Yep I was screaming at him to pitch it outside to Pollard. But for whatever reason the boy genius doesn't seem to like it

Longtime Dallas fans knew the Cowboys shoe was going to drop. It has been going on for over 2 decades. Why the realistic Dallas fans were not getting gitty with the 6 game win streak because the shoe was going to drop. And the Cowboys have not had a home field advantage -- in their own stadium. Barely over .500 record in AT & T and the enemies know it

As if this comes as no surprise Dallas fans. Cowboys collapse @ Thanksgiving ( lost 4 of their last 5 games) and the remaining of the season. The team will do another Falcons games sometime between Turkey Day and the final game, but for decades, have a losing record the final 4-5 games of the season.
Cowboys bought into early season run because of the starving for success. An entire generation looks at the Dallas Cowboys like they are the Detroit Lions......no success.
Nailed it!

Thinking we're great before accomplishing anything great is illogical. They don't give out regular season trophies. So some, like myself, choose to let the season play out before throwing in the towel or crowning ourselves as champions. Let's just see what happens. Good or bad I'll always be along for the ride.

What is the common denominator through it all?

Ultimately, that’s where the root of the problem lies.

They are definitely trending in the wrong direction.

And you're still here.....jokes on you, then.

Yet on paper the Cowboys should be favored in five of their final six games. Let's wait a while before we compare a 7-4 team getting some reinforcements back to the Detroit Lions.

Ouch!

It is frustrating, no doubt.

That said, life is all about perspective and this season is no different. The Cowboys are 7-4 right now and because they were 7-2, it looks much worse. If the Cowboys had been 5-4 and were now 7-4, the perspective would be much better with the same record.

If the Cowboys win their next two games, they would be 9-4 and a lot of fans will think, "They're back!" just like a lot think, "Season is over!" right now.

It will be interesting to see if the Cowboys peaked at 6-1 or if the injuries really are to blame for their 1-3 record since then.

After 25+ years though, it is hard to expect a pattern change until it happens so until then ...
Hoping it's the injuries and not the same toxic culture.
We shall see!

Sound wisdom!

Many teams have faltered during the season and even written off only to come together and become juggernauts in December. This team is different from past years most are attempting to compare them to.

oh one more thing:

"You have an all out prize fight, you wait until the fight is over, one guy is left standing. And that's how you know who won."

BS. They will put together another run. I have no doubt they finish strong.
