Part of Dak's value when young came out of using his legs. 6 rushing TDs each of his first 3 seasons. 1 rushing TD each of his last 2 seasons. Dak has lost something real to his game.

A lot of guys played major college ball and started a ton of games but this is the NFL where these guys were the best players on their college teams and that is every position in the NFL. The statistics show that little guys in the NFL have a short shelf life.

For every Darren sproles, how many Tevin Coleman's Royce Freeman, Glynn Milburn, tavon austin have there been. When these guys start to age and speed starts to wane and being plastered by guys that are almost double their weight. There is always a chance he is the exception but odds are stacked against him.

Austin , played for a few years and played for us too, he had speed but not good hands and route running I think.

Tevin Coleman played 8 years in the league. Tavon Austin 9 years. Milburn played 9 seasons. Freeman has played 6 years. What's your point? Yes, he has a tall task ahead of him. But it has been done. How many career games did he play in? Austin, milburn, , I was thinking of the other Broncos RB Lindsey not Freeman. Lindsey is probably the closest analog to Vaughan. As I said he may be an exception and have a long career like sproles.
